So far I like everything about the Y. I do feel your weight room is a little outdated compared to Blink/Evolve fitness which I also am a member of.. I have also met nice people there including the staff.

Wonderful group fitness classes
The crew at the North Y is amazing!! From the faithful lufeguards Laturo, Amanda & Rebecca to the entire staff. Always cheerful and helpful. Just today they found and returned unique button that had popped off from my blazer in the locker room. Thank you to the cleaner!!!
The classes
I feel the North Area Y is more comfortable for Seniors. It is smaller and less intimidating for older folks like me.
The staff is amazing. I mostly use the pool, but have been interested in some of the classes. The two people at the front desk on Monday were very helpful in explaining the various classes and introduced me to the new machines that will be placed in the main exercise room. I was even booked for an orientation for the use of these machines.
The staff is encouraging, helpful and knowledgeable.
The instructors are friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to their students.
