Equipment upkeep and cleaning
It's is a place where you feel welcomed and empowers you to be your best. The location is clean and well managed.
The amount of working amenities are amazing, it awesome amount of things to do, and great courteous staff.
The front desk staff was cordial, helpful and welcoming. The instructor for my pickleball class was patient and skilled.
Vary nice clean and friendly place.
I like the variety of equipment available., exercise classes and walking track.
I like the track. I shld be training for a Half Marathon (but Im not motivated because of the weather outside). So doing 3 miles upstairs out of the weather is very helpful. Then I play pickle ball for 2 hours and after that I stretch in the therapy pool. Going into the therapy pool and doing my own Aqua Yoga class is awesome. I spend hours at that Y! Its my job to stay healthy and NW YMCA is the place where I can do that. I love it there!
I really enjoy the group classes. There are varied levels of intensity offered and instructors even suggest modifications within each session.
The staff is your greatest asset. They are welcoming and engaging and epitomize what the Y is all about. They make your visits there really enjoyable.
The facilities are always clean and well maintained.
Love the pool!
I love the lazy River water classes with Denise. She is an excellent instructor and motivator. The class is limited to 30, however, no restriction is in place for additional participants. What’s the point of getting there early, getting a straw, and not restricting latecomers from entering. 30 people is max or someone is going to get hurt.
It would be wonderful if you offered 2 levels for this class, a low impact class and high impact class. Those of us who want a cardio workout are held back because it’s impossible to run when the class is over crowded and participants are walking side by side talking. It’s an accident waiting to happen. I wish you would add another River class with Denise on Thursday or Friday morning. That would be great.
Group fitness classes
I am 75 years old. I attend 2 Forever Fit classes at Northwest and 2 Forever Fit classes at North. Today I had my annual physical and got great news on my test results. My BP is great, A1C is under control (w/o medication) and my cholesterol is good (with medication) I believe those results are directly related to being consistent in attending four classes a week.
Friendly staff, clean facility, lots of choices for equipment
Everyone is very friendly and helpful.
It feels like "Family".
It is clean & offers a variety of equipment, classes, etc.
Staff is lovely- helpful. A positive environment,
Friendly atmosphere
The sheer variety of what the facility has to offer---hands down the most expansive workout facility I've ever had a membership to!
The Y is a clean and friendly environment
The staff were very welcoming and helpful.
I always get a great workout, when I’m there
The staff is friendly and place is kept in top condition.
Pickle ball- but there needs to be a sign with all the rules and times- the older clientele seem to dominate the courts and intimidate beginers and families. But the courts are great
I really like the Walking track.
Though it's the furthest YCNY from me, I enjoy laps swimming there when I can, and the other pools with my grandchildren. The facility (building, locker rooms, and pool) is clean and well-lighted. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, including helping me to search for my left-behind items.

I am nervous about the upcoming new equipment. I'm old and as a general rule, anything starting with "E" isn't good for me. I hope the machines that I Iike to use will remain unchanged.
