Every thing is good and everyone is helpful and happy.
They offer workouts I can do and have fun while I'm exercising! Staff and members are friendly and helpful which makes it a very comfortable place to be.

My only visits to the Central Y is for the Masters swim group in the outdoor pool 3days a week.

I think the facility is very good considering the YMCA probably has a really limited budget

Good variety of classes.

The variety of fitness and physical activities in the gym. I really like that they offer that variety. I also like that the gym is clean and smells good.

Nice facility and equipment, friendly staff and members
It is very helpful especially to seniors citizen having excercises program by the admin. Like me aside from having fun and meeting friends is very helpful to my being and getting old. Very very helpful and very beneficial.
Kids programs
I go here with kids and it is kid friendly. Not a lot of fancy items but I feel safe to leave my kids at the kid club, take them to pools and just in general feels welcoming for kids.
I love the exercise classes. Kelly and Noriko make them so much fun. But the best part of the YMCA is that it has provided me the opportunity to meet some amazing new friends.
Love Zumba and Pilates
The H20 water aerobics class are led by very skilled, fun, energetic instructors.
Ditto for the group exercise classes, namely Zumba, Land Fitness, etc.
I enjoy the company of the other YMCA members.

I really like the water areobics classes I have attended over the past few years. The instructors, Barbara and the aqua Zumba teacher are great. I leave each class feeling great mentally and physically refreshed. The Y is a great value. You become physically fit and meet new people.
The environment is one for sure. And bunch of options to catch group exercises opportunities. My sister and husband is almost ready to join. :)
Flexible schedules
I love the staff and people in classes. I take yoga classes most often but have gone to other classes and worked out on my own and always feel happy about it!
Recently, I went on a retreat and took several Qigong classes. I would love for them to be added to the Y's class list. Maybe they are somewhere and I missed it when looking at the lists at all the Bay Area Y's ? I think Qigong would be a great thing to take before a yoga class or other class to loosen the body up. But on its own it is very valuable.
