Location and lots of time options available for the swim lessons
I love their exercise classes. Golden Zumba is my favorite, but I love the fitness class with Kelly and the aqua fitness classes as well.
The instructors that I have had in the various classes have been fantastic. They all are very personable and very kind. I like the fact that they are inclusive and tend to let everyone work at their own pace.
Best of all, I have made so many friends by attending the classes that is like a social event going to work out.
Excellent facilities plus to option to visit other YMCAs in the Bay Area
The exercise classes are good.
Love that it is family friendly. Child care is a huge plus
Variety of classes.
Group exercise classes are great!
Great instructors. Friendly staff.
Very good exelent program
Good variety of classes with a real feeling of community
Classes
I like the group classes body pump, cicle,
My best time for my is 6:30 am. On Tuesday and Thursday there aren't classes. I hope will open cycle class again.
Outdoor pool
We do not specifically use a program or activity. We enjoy the weight machines and the cardio equipment.
A wide variety of fitness equipment and programs to improve your physical fitness.
I like sign up for group classes online. It is simple and fast.
Family oriented activities, clean gym all of the members are polite and friendly. It's a very nice gym to be a part of.
Outdoor pool, out door weights area, lockers, showers
Few things that need attention.
Seems the 5 lb weights from the outdoor area are being misplaced, moved to other areas, used as door stops or shims for the weighted ball rack
The men’s shower soap dispensers need attention. They are broke, or empty, or not attached to the wall very well
The service is the best as far as the staff goes what I means is the build that used by YMCA is very old ( sometimes equipment break and it takes a long time to get parts but that happens in all GYM as far as managements it 50/50 again you can't please everybody pat overall the Y is the best GYM in Silcon Valley.
Great
Swimming pool ‘s temperature is perfect that is not too hot and not too cold.
Variety of classes is great. Instructors are excellent.
Teachers seem engaged with the students. There is a rubric to help all understand the goals of the program. The feedback in written form is helpful and informative. I love the report card at the end to let parents know what needs more work and time.
Me gusta las clases de grupo en el agua.
I like about how certain activities like Yoga is limited to a certain number so there is room for those who sign up.

The Central Y is a very supportive and comfortable place. The staff is friendly and approachable. Your clientele are supportive of each other, checking to see how members that they see all of the time are doing,
The Aqua Fitness programs are built for the participants to support each other in our quest for getting and staying fit. I am an avid fan of the indoor deep end of the pool. I am not sure that the other Ys have a deep end. It is a real game changer for those of us with arthritic knees!
Please review your current policy of locking people out of a class of Aqua Aerobics when a class starts. This places not only the teachers in the position of becoming Gestapo guards, but the lifeguards as well,
If Aqua Aerobics is only one of the Group Exercise classes that has this policy of lock out, maybe it can be moved to the Pool Schedule instead. Thank you Thomas for listening to me today regarding my concerns of a few elderly, mobility impaired attendees who were turned away for being late,
