Friendly staff, great instructors and yoga experience, beautiful locations

City is a perfect studio if you are not opposed to a very large class with minimal hands-on adjustment. The size of the studio often makes it difficult to hear the more softly spoken instructors who give excellent instruction, but can only be heard half the time. Part of this problem can be overcome by asking all instructors to speak clearly and loudly, and to keep the music relatively quiet. We attend classes to hear the teacher, not the music and this is true for all studios in addition to City.

The location is amazing and the view lovely, the installations are great and all the provided props are very nice.

Amazing instructors, wonderful, welcoming staff and very client centred approach all around. From the Sea studio (my home base) to the option of going to any other studio and long enough classes to really get into it/benefit from time on the mat, I am so happy - and grateful - for semperviva.
Went to Seaside, the location was great and the instruction was spot on, plus it was great that mats are already set up for you .
People are friendly, the yoga instructors are excellent (I like the fact that the instructors clearly state that you don't have to keep up with the class, that it's OK to slow down if necessary). The selection of classes is good. I would love to see 5:00 classes in at least one of your studios!

I drive from New West for your classes. I love the variety, accessibility for all levels, spiritual component, music, the environment and instructors! I'm never disappointed and the drive is totally worth it!
Monthly pass is a little on the expensive side.

The setting at Granville Island is an added bonus to the peaceful vibe of the yoga class. All of the yoga instructors have been excellent. Thank you!

I appreciated that the first class was free. The location of your studio is great. I felt like it really fit the neighborhood. The teacher was great. I also appreciated that the yoga studio provided mats. It's a good idea to have the mats laying out for the class so that mats are efficiently arranged. A lot of yoga studios put tape on their floor. I think what you do is a better alternative.
I didn't like that the bathroom and water cooler was only accessible during or in between classes but you can't change much about building layout.
Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend to anyone in Vancouver to check out the studio.
More experienced instructors in prime time slots!! Some instructors still run their classes like a calisthenics class... for example Ali Storen.
Love Jazz, Ali Shafer, Clara, Zander, Kristyna, etc...
Would love to see more Tonic apparel in the boutique!!
