Excellent workout, amazing instructors and staff...all the positive energy!
There are so many great instructors and variety of classes. The staff is always so friendly as well.
Consistently good classes and teachers
The staff are all friendly.
Community feel and great teachers.
I like that your classes are yoga specific. You have all the tools/equipment on site.
Great class
Friendly staff
I like the number of classes a day and the possibility of always making it to yoga.
So many classes to choose from every day. Multiple locations. Scanned entry.
Primarily, the instructors and more specifically, Julia's classes. Apart from being knowledgeable, I particularly enjoy their -1) Clarity in communication, so flowing from a pose to a different one comes easily and 2) Sound, no-fluff, approach to yoga. I'm a trained scientist and have been surprised and disappointed to explore new yoga studios/teachers only to find them too political or not having the mind-body connection be the main focus. I have never once encountered this with a Semperviva instructor.
I'd also love to contribute one idea if possible towards helping Semperviva gain a larger audience in Vancouver. If we want people to understand the value that Semperviva offers, it might be worth exploring the creation of brief 10-15 min videos for YouTube or Instagram taught by your instructors. AloYoga, which is a huge yoga apparel company based in San Fran, attracted it's audience primarily through instructional videos. Consumerism aside, educational content would dramatically increase engagement rates with the Vancouver market.
The studio is big and inviting, calm and welcoming, it's a beautifully safe space. And the staff are exceptional - again, kind and welcoming, I love coming to practice here and at the 4th and Yew studio.
I like the studio, and the teachers. I like the variety of classes, and the friendly staff.
The class prior to mine was full. The air was very humid & stale. Better air circulation / ventilation between classes.
The instructor guided a wonderful Kundalini class but the volume of the music often made it difficult to hear.
Frequency of classes - always easy to schedule one in!
The easy accessibility, especially for new students, and the beautiful environment!
Great classes and good instructors.
Some of the best instructors around
The staff and the community of people who do yoga
So friendly and gave a free trial session!
Great teachers and exceptional customer service.
Welcoming and inclusive
Iiked the large room. Friendly staff. Great yoga. However the room was stuffy. The window was propped open but wasn't enough to circulate the air. Still enjoyed it very much.
The teacher was awesome... but packing people in like sardines really sucks. The mats are fine and yoga can be done on one's mat but with all the bolsters, and bricks and blocks - it's ridiculous.
The teachers, times and locations are great.
The atmosphere and everyone is welcoming.
Quality of instruction is so great.
Really enjoy being there and the tea.
Classes are always challenging
Love the tranquil setting at sea, the space and the soft carpet!!!
Also love yin on Thursday evenings!! Great instructor-
