I loved your sit and fit classes as well as your Prime Time Class. Tom and Mel are both excellent instructors. They make the class.
I like that many classes are for the elderly. I especially enjoy the sit and fit classes by Tom Calahan. This man TRULY CARES for the attendees. I do not like exercising, I do not do it at home. I know I have to for a better quality of life at 79 so I discipline myself to go to Tom's class twice a week. Although I am very tired at the end of the hour, I actually enjoy the class because of Tom's personality. My stamina is also improving and I walk more steadily. Talk about a life of meaning Tom!
However Tom's classes are very crowded. Hard to find a good seat. I wish Tom could have another class at 2:15 so attendance would be less crowded. I am sure both classes would fill up as I know people have turned around because it is too crowded. I suggest explaining to the attendees to try to stick to the 1PM OR 2:15PM so each class would be less crowded.... Food for thoughts.

The only program I am involved in is the Adult fitness class at 11 am on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, but can’t attend Friday’s class. Leez is the teacher and her energy is a good example of the advantage of exercise.
Since I am almost 95, I can thank the Y for offering this class!

I like that many of the machines were replaced recently and that the gentle yoga class instructor is fantastic.
