Machines
Pickleball is my favorite activity as it is good exercise and lets me meet new people and have fun. People at the Englewood Y are friendly and welcoming.
I find the cycling classes very helpful in maintaining my fitness at age 70.

That I can try different classes to see what I like! All of the instructors are very enthusiastic and encouraging. They all emphasize how important it is to listen to your body and modify if necessary. I have already recommended the Y to 3 people
Zumba, body balance, dance fit, shed, I would love to try the body pump but can never get into the class. I believe you should offer it more often.
I like being able to use equipment also.
So I haven’t tried any programs, but I like the organization and clean environment

The staff at the Englewood Y is very efficient and friendly! Additionally, they have great group exercise classes, and programs for all ages.
Lots of options to choose from.
I like all the equipment I only wish there was a time limit on many of the weight machines as some people just sit there for lengthy periods.

The availability of equipment like elliptical or treadmill. The pool is also fantastic and well run.

Zumba is my favorite and I wish there were more classes each week and at more convenient times. A 8:00 or 9:00 class would not break up the day like 11:00 does.

The Y is close to our home about 8 minutes away. You offer a variety of activities for seniors. I bought our daughter a massage of her choice at the Y of which she and her family are members. I wanted a personal trainer that would be cheerful, knowledgeable, encouraging, patient, kind & caring. I was blessed to find the perfect one at the Y. Her name is Marcia. She is all the above and more! The Y is indeed blessed because of her. She makes me feel so special. After our first workout, she later sent me a text to check on me! So sweet! It’s the employees that make a company great. You can have all of the workout machines in the world, but it’s the employees who actually represent the company in a positive or negative way that will determine whether people will come back or not. Its employees like Marcia that make a company great! I’m looking forward to coming back for my weekly training sessions with Marcia. She specifically designed a really good workout routine just for me! I’m off to a good start at 75!
we are loving the Y so glad we joined. Everyone is so friendly. The equipment is great although some of it could use some updating overall we’re very happy the classes are wonderful!
