Wonderful instructors
Challenging classes
Many different classes to choose for your likes and abilities. Friendly staff and members. Definitely a clean building.
The Lakewood Ranch YMCA is a wonderful facility with equipment and programs for all age groups. The equipment is kept in excellent condition and there is always someone in the gym or at the reception/member desk to help with questions or needs.
Kelly offers classes for Veterans. She also facilitated new equipment that is very much appreciated.
I love the classes and instructors are good.
Excellent place to do exercises in group, individual and also you can do at your pace and time. Thank you YMCA!
Swimming
We are offered many group classes during a variety of times throughout the day.
While I personally don’t participate, it seems like there are a lot of choices and a wide variety
The enthusiastic and peaceful atmosphere and the help and cooperation of the staff
Classes are great. It is nice to have such a variety and very good instructors. It is also good that you offer educational seminars.
Meeting others. Morning classes could be more varied during peak times
Wide variety for all ages that support our community. I especially like the free membership for all venice veterans.
Good variety of classes.

Great variety of high quality classes
Love the fitness classes.
Swimming pool
One thing I am not happy about is that the Punta Gorda does not offer enough classes to people who work. It’s fibe if you’re retired, but there are very few working adult and kid classes. They cater to snowbirds and retires. Also barre and Pilates are hugely popular- why aren’t you offering more late afternoon / early evening / early morning classes in these areas? They also cater to snowbird instructors.
Staff great
Love the volleyball. Also like the classes
The equipment is wonderful.
I really like the fit vet program that you offer plus the new workout area is the best
