Excellent seafood, with interesting preparations.
Great atmosphere, excellent wait staff, Awesome bartender/mixologist, divine hush puppies, scallops from heaven, smoked trout pate that is out of this world. My wife and I had never dined here before and decided to try it for our 25th anniversary. From the moment we walked in, the whole experience was grand. Our waiter, Will, was thoroughly delightful. He made recommendations and answered all of our many questions about menu items. The entire dining experience was superb. We will be back.

all of the food is delicious. never had a bad meal here and I always enjoy the appetizers as well. Lucky to have such a good fish place near home.

The Staff is very attentive and the food is excellent.
For an appetizer, we shared the octopus wraps and the dish was terrific although we had to order it without the pork which we do not eat. My wife had the mussels for an entree and they were large and excellent. I had the the sole which was also excellent but I would have preferred it with a more traditional provencal sauce. Like many restaurants these days, many of the seafood dishes on the menu were prepared with bacon or other meat ingredients which reduces the number of 'seafood' selections to a minimal number. I really don't understand why chef's feel that have to add a meat element to a seafood dish. With that said, we were able to find some very good dishes to enjoy - just wish there were more seafood only choices.
The service started out very good but deteriorated somewhat as time went by and the restaurant became busier.

The food was very good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our waitress Sydney had some great recommendations with food and wine. My only complaint is the prices. We ordered the cobia ceviche for $14.00 and this tiny plate came out. It was very good, but too much money for the small amount of food.

One of my top 5 favorite restaurants in Atlanta! Very professional & knowledgeable staff, delicious food, and super fun atmosphere! We loved the house smoked fish section! Totally unique to your restaurant. You should bring it back!!
We love Brent and the bar. Lure also has the best selection of high quality seafood in midtown. For the past several months, our meals have been unpleasantly salty, including salads (and salads overdressed if I forget to ask for it on the side). This added salt trend is ruining the flavor of the food. Again, we often ask no added salt, but it's a complicated discussion. When staff sprinkle that last pinch of salt, sometimes mindlessly, you can't control the amount. It's a dreadful trend. We dine at Lure 1-2x per month.
