When serving your small plates- seared scallops, and the server realizes that the plate wil be shared between two people, they need to ask, "would you like me to have the chef plate it up separately?" We asked our server to ask the chef to split it in the kitchen , which he was happy to do (and appreciate the "no up charge") and the scallop showed up looking rather special, even though their was only one.
I'm 63 yo, eat out enough to know chefs and gm's, and morn the lost days when the front of the house took as much pride in service as the chef and his staff do in the kitchen. Informality is ok at the bar b q place, but not at an upscale dining establishment such as yours, even if the customers show up in shorts, sneakers, and golf shirts, which I don't understand either. Food and service was excellent..scallop appetizer was delicious as was the red snapper and the half chicken was delicious but was 2 legs..that was the only issue...great wine list and atmosphere rocksed...WELL DONE and will be back for sure with lots of friends.

Everything about the Fifth Group is well-thought out and executed. Before stepping foot in Lure, I knew it would be a great place to eat.
I know the restaurant is still evolving post-opening but it seems like there are a lot of items that are new takes on classics. And some classics may not need a change. For example, I enjoyed the mussels but the traditional French approach with white wine is perfectly ok. Anyway, i know there's a vision for the place but that's just my two cents.
Paul, Sherry, Victoria and the staff. The food is really good and the drinks are AMAZING! The atmosphere is very Midtown Atlanta and it's only a block away from my residence at 1010 Midtown Condos. I will be frequenting Lure for sure :)
