The service (at the bar where I usually sit) is great! I LOVE the trout pate. The bartenders KNOW their wines, and the kitchen does an amazing job with every entree I have ever tried.

You accommodated our party of nine even though you had an extremely large party coming in soon after us. We love to come to Lure before we go to the Alliance. Our "TheaterGroup" of teachers will keep coming to Lure.

The service is always good , the fresh line aught fish options , the food has always been great ( all though at my last dining experience the food was a bit salty ) the atmosphere , having a choice of dining inside or outside....Sometimes inside tends to be a bit noisy....

Service was outstanding and the food was good too.
The snapper with Carolina gold rice was delicious. I ordered the steak with broccoli rabe. The steak had no flavor and the rabe was so tough it took me five minutes to chew and was difficult to eat. The rabe was not hot either. I asked the lady who brought the food if they had steak sauce she said no. The steak was not hot, barely warm. The butter on top of the steak was good. Leslie, the waitress was nice. She told us the restaurant had run out of bread. After my mom asked Leslie ( three separate times) how could a restaurant run out of bread? Leslie finally brought us some mini bread slices that were very good and I ate with some of the snapper. The manager came over and I told him how terrible the steak dish tasted. He offered to replace it so I ordered the pan breaded sole. That dish was much tastier! I enjoyed it and I enjoyed my lemon drop martini as well. I decided to order a second drink and after 10 minutes it had not arrived. I asked Leslie where my drink was, she said she would go check. Another 10 minutes and no drink. I saw Leslie walk by and informed her she could cancel my drink because I did not need it since I had finished my sole. The hostess was very nice as well. I wanted to order the broccoli as my side dish that I had last time I was at Lure. However Leslie informed me that the dish was seasonal and was no longer on the menu. That broccoli which chili sauce was much better than the rabe though and I would have preferred that.
We were warmly greeted and seated at a cosy table. Coleen who waited on us was friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and served appropriately. We are looking forward to returning soon, Lure lives up to 5th Group's reputation for excellance.
From the moment you arrive, the staff make you feel welcomed and like old friends or long lost family. The menus are always interesting providing so many good choices than one does have difficulty deciding. The wait staff is knowledgeable about the menu items including wine and drinks. But none of this would really matter if the food weren't so good, fresh, and innovative.

I like the fresh seafood, oyster selection, wines by the glass, helpful servers (and bartenders), and the overall experience. It is one of my "go-to" places when I am dining alone, as I always feel welcomed.
Waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable regarding food and wine.
The $1.00 oyster special is wonderful and we will definitely be back! We loved the punch bowl too! Daniel, our server was lovely as well!
