I currently only use fitness center and indoor walking track, I would like to see Tai Chi, and pilates classes offered and perhaps a class on balance and stability for those over 50. Also classes at more times, prefer early in am.

You have a wide variety of programs and something for everyone. Love having late morning water classes. Most staff is wonderful and knowledgeable.
My only request is that I wish that the silver sneaker classes were not at the same time as the water classes. Not sure there is a solution but during the pool closure, I went to the silver sneaker classes and they were great.

So much to offer

I routinely play Pickleball at the Whittaker YMCA. The PB atmosphere and social aspects are great. Amber "ED" works closely with the PB group to make sure that things are running smoothly.
During the winter ti would be great to have more courts at Whittaker or upgrade the other YMCA's PB courts to be comparable to Whittaker.

I like the variety of scheduled programs and the multitude of individual or small group opportunities available, particularly regarding the track, gymnasium, pool, and large exercise (equipment) complex! Too, no organization over time is going to be better than its leadership and I have found that Director Dana Ensley, Amber Serres, Operations Director, and Ron at the front desk exude confidence, professionalism, compassion, and expertise as they perform their roles in the organization.

I’d like the hours of operation and the variety of equipment at the Whitaker Y
The unique complaint that I have is that the TVs located on the treadmills, always seem to have some kind of issue with them is this something that can be rectified?
And some of the programs that are conducted in the room at the far end of the hall I’ve gotten your call with the boom boom room, Due to the extremely loud music

After the renovation the air is clean without that hard smell of chlorine. The water is clear and does not burn the eyes like it used to be. I think that now the facility is back on the map.

I absolutely love Monika and Pam's Pilates Reformer sessions at 8:15am! Such a great class that keeps me coming back for more.
