Pleasant. Easy to use.
Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable
My work schedule is erratic. I can only come in the early morning and then I swim. Beautiful pool!
The pool area! And the family locker rooms :)
I mainly swim and workout with the machines upstairs. The kid programs are excellent. I have friends who have their children in beginning swim classes and the kids do great.

Flexibility and availability
I first went to Whitaker to take advantage of the walking track on the second floor -- 16 laps equals about a mile, though I always wish the track was longer because 16 circuits seem impossibly long for a mile.
Whitaker is a beautiful facility. The staff always greet me by name when I wave my membership card in the reader.
This week I began attending the aqua fitness classes. I have balance issues and have to be careful not to slip and fall in wet areas, but to my delight I found that Whitaker's aqua area floors are concrete and nearly slip proof.
The aqua fitness instructors have all been wonderful, and the repeat members clearly enjoy the classes. I'm looking forward to taking David Cubine's tai chi at Whitaker next month.
it's clean, fun, and has friendly staff
The women dressing room is always spotless. There is plenty of room in there. I like the private dressing rooms, although I don't always use them. Everything works in the toilets and sinks. I love the pool; it is so good for my arthritis. I am so happy that the hot tub and saunas are open again, although I appreciate that they were closed during the time of high risk of COVID. The front reception people are always helpful.
I use the pool regularly for lap swimming and the gym for basketball. The facilities are first class and all personnel are friendly and professional.
Water aerobics, adult pool and hot tub!
Facilities are excellent. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help.
variety and many time options
Number of activities. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean.
My kids love Kids Corner, even my 3 year old! The pool and splash pad are a huge plus for our family because we don't have water access at home. The fitness classes have all been so fun and the instructors are amazing!
Love the pool and li ker rooms. Never crowded.
Hot tub swimming pool

For me, the Silver Sneaker program is of paramount importance in my life. During the Covid year, my health and mobility deteriorated. For months I watched my e-mail to see when it might open up again, but I never saw any notice. The last week in June 2021, a friend of mine informed me about the resumption of a register-only class, and I did just that. I am working hard to build myself back. I desperately need the class for my whole health. I have connected with many new friends and look forward to adding more.
I am disturbed, however, that attendance is limited to first-come-first-served much smaller attendance. I have seen no explanation as to why we are relegated to half a gym where hearing is difficult and to a limited number of chairs. Are we not returning to the big activity room? Pre-Covid our class regularly attended 50-60 Senior citizens. What are the Y circumstances that require Senior members to lack the services that are so critical to our ability to live independently and in reasonably good health? Are there any plans to once again emphasize Senior health and well-being? I do love the Y and am hoping to see Seniors experiencing the full Silver Sneaker emphasis.
