There are a variety of classes for all ages and abilities. I like the time schedules you for your classes. My father was a member of "The Y's men" of the Des Moines, IA YMCA for years. I have problems with my knees and back. I love the deep water aerobics and low impact classes.
The variety of classes available are great, but what really makes this YMCA stand out is the friendliness of most of the staff. They go above and beyond in greeting you, in positivity, encouragement and helpfulness. This trickles down to the members, making the Armbrust Y one of the friendliness Y's I've ever attended.
