The staff is amazing!!! Very up beat and confidant. Wish the pool had better hours but everyone is going through staffing issues so we understand. Wish there was a pass so that members could bring in someone once, sign in, and enjoy the facility to see if they want to join without a fee. Other than that I have enjoyed going there. Very nice staff and clean facility.

They all make you feel WELCOME AND SHOW A GENUINE INTEREST IN WELCOMING Us HOME! I attend the Down River Y of Southgate in the morning and I feel like a family member returning home by everyone but one! That person’s name was excluded because that person lacks the exuberant personality exhibited by your other glowing examples! That person is Not Rude or anything like that, just lacks the Glowing Personality that the others Excel At!

It wasn't busy so I could use the equipment I wanted to use.
The location is good for me. The machines I use are usually available when I go in. Elevator is great for me as I get short of breath easily. The parking sometimes is difficult as I have a handicap sticker and it is full most of the time. employees are friendly and place is clean

The facility is always clean , and the equipment is always in order . The set up at the downriver facility is far greater of the downtown facility . I belong to the downtown YMCA and they have their equipment stretched across the gym floor to a point where it doesnt make sense . Its a bit annoying . The downriver facility is great.
