The thing I liked best about my Y experience is the great instructors, the encouraging students, and the warm temperature of the pool.
My child enjoyed the experience and looked forward to attending.
My granddaughter has more confidence with water safety, and she enjoyed the lessons. The instructor was patient and make sure that the students were doing it correctly. This program should continue is very beneficial, especially for intercity kids.

Aubrie went frim.being afraid of the water to actually bragging that she can hold her breathe under the water now. A major accomplishment from a kid who didn't want the water touching her face. She now actually enjoys the water. Thank you Mr Keith and the YMCA Boll's Staff.
Several time slots, flexibility, class size, instructors and cleanliness of the facility
Her two swim teachers were amazing my daughter is 4 and she began swim class not knowing her own abilities uncomfortable with water without a flotation device. She can now tread water do the front crawl and somewhat do the back crawl. Because she trusted her teachers it propelled her forward. The whole team is just awesome.. THANK YOU ALL!
Our kids have enjoyed swim lessons at the Y! They feel comfortable with their swim coaches in the water. They have learned and grown in their swimming abilities. I'm so grateful for our experience.

The facilities are great and there's just the right amount of attention from lifeguards. I enjoy that there are group, private and open swim classes and that they are organized well so that space isn't an issue.

This location brings a whole new modern look to the YMCA franchise, and being that it’s located Downtown Detroit I was especially pleased that it offered so many outdoor views to enjoy all the beautiful things taking place in the city. The running track provides about or close to 180 degrees of window views to look out side, alongs side this location having a great out door view for other rooms like; Cycling Rooms , Stretching, Rooms, and Weight lifting room. But these are just all things that would be better if you at least take the time to visit the lovely Boll Family YMCA in Downtown Detroit, Michigan.
