Thank you for the opportunity to share feedback. I really enjoy working out at the Downtown YMCA. It's the location closest to my home. The upstairs amenities are great, and customer service is always friendly, welcoming, and professional. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be adding a sauna. I think the women's locker room is spacious enough to accommodate one, and it would be a wonderful addition for recovery and relaxation. The only other downside is parking, though I understand that's hard to change downtown. Overall, I'm very happy and appreciate everything the staff does. Adding a sauna would make an already great YMCA even better.

The gym staff, especially the new gentleman with braids, is excellent. They are friendly, helpful, and cheerful. Also, the facility is top knotch and I enjoy brining my sons to enjoy it as well.

Great lessons but too short, should be longer. I also recommend distributing the supplies, they should be accessible and available for everyone because they are helpful and needed.

I pretty much exclusively use the pool and I go about five times a week usually in the evening about 30 minutes before it closes for the night. While I wouldn’t say the facilities are necessarily state of the art or the most renovated/updated, the quality of the facilities at the Y are more than satisfactory, sufficiently clean, the staff are attentive and professional, courteous, and it has become a real go-to place in my life since moving to downtown Detroit. I consider myself very fortunate to have this Y facility located so close to my home, offering me a relaxing and healthy environment in which to keep active.

There are so many options for ways to move your body. It's great! I'm most impressed with the offerings for youth. Preschool basketball has made a huge positive impact on my child and they are enjoying the summer camp, too!

The Y is clean, light, comfortable, and well appointed to work on my body. The machines are usually kept in good repair, and the staff cleans daily. My trainer Colin Parks, is wonderful. He is patient, kind, and knowledgeable about health challenges. He is constantly providing us with novel ways to reach our exercise goals.
I love the Boll Family YMCA - it has given me such a feeling of community and connection, while getting affordable access to so many great amenities, like the cardio equipment, weights, lap pool, and all the different classes.
The staff - from front desk to fitness instructors are incredible. Facility is clean and bright and well equipped. We love it here and the price is affordable for our whole family to enjoy! The only challenge point is parking downtown which isn’t their fault but it is a barrier
Our infant/toddler swim instructor makes class fun and engaging for our little one. We look forward to class each week!

I love the pool and enjoy the wellness room. I also attend a weekly spin class, which is great. Personnel is s very friendly.
