I love our downtown YMCA because it is always a clean and welcoming environment. The staff are extremely helpful and kind. The equipment is well maintained. And it is a great place to meet friends and work out together. I also really like the layout. I’ve been to other YMCA’s in other cities and I continue to like the Boll ymca in downtown Detroit best. The only thing I don’t like is having to find street parking whenever I go.
The Y has been amazing since we joined. I initially just wanted to have somewhere to work out that also included child watch. I have be blown away with the activities during the year that my children have loved, the rooftop yoga was a success and we all have become more confident swimming. I’m thankful for the program that allows us all to be apart of the Y. Highly recommend the Y to all my friends and family.

I like the Boll Family YMCA. The facilities are relatively new and well maintained. I like the pool. I hope to visit it more in the upcoming weeks.

It's clean and roomy with a variety of equipment and uses. I hate running indoors, but splitting a run between the track and a treadmill makes it more bearable.

The workout studios at Boll need to be swept and dusted daily. The coat racks in all studios are very dusty. And have dust balls.
Recommend a new app, not easy to navigate and find classes per Studio and doesn’t offer a class cancellation feature.
Its a community of like minded people sharing goals, life, healthy outlook on life. Many of the staff are quite friendly and postive interacting well with the members. The spaces are always neat, clean accessible and the variety of staions and equipment is excellent

The front desk staff are always friendly, energetic, and helpful. I love the vibe in the Y - a place for kids, families, adults, and more. It truly feels like a community space. I absolutely love the ceramic series - Jess is AMAZING! She needs a raise! I love that the Y understands that adults need (and want) creative outlets and works to serve the whole person. I hope the future holds more art/creative type classes.
