There was a welcoming attitude on the part of all the staff I met. Answered all my questions.
My son enjoys playing in the +12 basketball league. He said that the coach and players are nice and he is learning a lot from the experience.
As a parent, I like the schedule, practice every Tuesday evening and play a game every Saturday afternoon.
I also like the follow-up opportunity that is available to the players, after the league is over the YMCA offers developmental opportunities on Tuesday. This is perfect for my son. He is new to the game, so this will give him an opportunity to learn and practice new skills.
He will be back next season!
As new members, my husband and I were pleased to be greeted so warmly—and it’s every visit not just the first. We both like everything about Chair Yoga: the pace, the moderate level of difficulty, and especially the instructor Cathy. We look forward to trying new classes as our schedules permit.

Our tour was amazing. They allowed my toddler to go on the tour with us because he was too nervous to stay in the kids center. We are so excited to be a part of the YMCA!
Love the Tuesday and Thursday Chair Yoga with Kathy and the newly renamed fitness class with Linda, Both Kathy and Linda are great teachers and make the classes fun.
The Group Exercise instructors are compassionate, caring and concerned about the well being of each of the Y Members.
The machines are well taken care of. The trainers are available and professional. The hours wk w my schedule.
Group classes
I have been happy with my pool aerobics on Tues and Thursday with Isaac. It is fun and a good workout. I do Zumba on Saturday and enjoy the enthusiasm of the class members led by our energetic instructor. Everyone is helpful and congenial each time I visit the Birmingham YMCA

I saw there was a sauna in the Women's locker room! Not offered at every Y so I was pleased with that feature. I like that it's close to work and not very busy during the day because I prefer privacy
I like the Wellness Center and the Yoga classes.
