Everything: the front desk staff were friendly, welcoming and efficent; the locker room and pool were very clean, the life guards/pool staff were on top of it and the price of membership is an unbelievable deal. I was also touched to see someone coaching an elderly woman in a wheelchair, developing a way for her to exercise and build up her strength. They seemed knowledgeable and respectful in their work with her.
I love Active Older Adults taught by Linda. She is knowledgeable, patient, and funny.

I like that the Y is a family experience. My son can play basketball while I workout. My little kids are taken care of in the childcare area.

You do NOT have to wait for cardio equipment! There is plenty of treadmills, exercise bikes, etc. Sauna is great! Nice members!

I am a senior and my health insurance pays for my membership. I love the classes I’ve enrolled in- Chair Yoga and Senior exercise class. The instructors are amazing.,The director and people at the front desk are very helpful and friendly. I’m glad that this Y in Birmingham is so community oriented- always having family happenings, fundraisers for helping adults and children. Thank you .
