My daughter had a wonderful week at her first sleep-away camp! When she got home she told me in detail about each day and the camp traditions. I loved receiving photos each day and greatly appreciated the facial recognition software that tagged the photos she was in.
My only point for improvement would be a more thorough cleaning of the cabins between sessions. There were some crumbs on my daughter’s mattress so I tipped it up to sweep them off before putting on her sheets and found a melted jolly rancher and more crumbs underneath.
EVERYTHING!! This was my kids FIRST year attending Camp Cullen for the summer and they had an AMAZING experience. The week they were there they had a BLAST ;)

I live all the land and water activities. We need adult camp! Also, I forgot stationary. We need to sell stamps and cards in camp store please.

Well organized and great options.
My daughter had a fantastic time and I will send her next year. She only had one incident where she heard her counselor say she would get a tattoo saying I hate kids which I don't think that was good for her to hear. Which made me also feel a little uneasy that someone caring for my child felt that way. I will be requesting that my daughter and her group not be put with this counselor again.

The variety of sports and interesting new activities kept the kids busy and they had fun every day.
Both kids had a great time. They love the horses and water activities. They also said staff was very kind and receptive to their feedback. Overall a great experience.
My children did the water camp. They absolutely loved it!!! The only thing is the big price tag that came along with it. They want to go back next year so they are willing to help pay for it. They had never been to an overnight camp without at least knowing most of the people the were camping with. They hated leaving the kids they made friends with!
Focus on collaboration -- provide an array of activities and skill building -- not passive, but active forms of learning -- ethical practices and forms of learning without overt religious bias -- fun, thoughtful counselors --
We like the variety of activities that are available . This is our fourth year at camp Cullen and he went two weeks this time. He never wants to come home. Lol
The kids seem to have a lot of fun
So much fun. Our 12 yr old loved horse camp last week and our 9 yr old goes next week.
Such fun that they can go to the same camp I went to 35 yrs ago in grade school. Thank you!

Counselors are friendly and supportive of kids. Activities are plentiful but could be offered more often throught the week. Cabins are great and health center is efficient.
I loved that the kids were able to learn about character!! That is so important in children. I also loved that my daughter was able to overcome fears and have the opportunity to choose her own path.
So many choices! My daughter had a blast and immediately wanted to return!

My son loved the program and activities. He made new friends and had a blast. The most memorable part was tubing “So Awesome”
There is so much to do that even if you have a really picky kid, they will be happy. Everyone is so patient and kind. This is a great place for kids to try different activities and see what they like and might want to do more of during the year.

Daughter loves equestrian. We loved the number of staff to kids, the multitude of activities available, the great cabins (air conditioned and private showers), and teaching kids to speak up.
My kids love it ! The experiences my children have had at Camp Cullen will last forever as special childhood memories. Thank you so much to all the counselors and faculty members that make this camp possible. ❤️
Everything! The activities are amazing and the counselors make it even more amazing. The only feedback I have is one of my sons was never called the horseback ride.
Spiritual without pushing religion. Counselors from all over the world. Well kept grounds and facilities. The energy and excitement, I loved that my highly self conscious child could go without feeling self conscious or judged. It was wonderful for her.
This was the first time our girls went away for camp. They enjoyed themselves so much they were ready to do another week THIS SUMMER! :)
The constant engagement of the Campers, the diverse set of activities from which to choose from, and the fact that specialization is available for some activities.
My son loved the camp. He was there for a week and enjoyed all the activities. The counselors were great, attentive and helpful. He said the food was very good The planned activities were wonderful. Send like a kid if safety precautions were taken in the water sports and he enjoyed those immensely. The only negative was the lack of organization for registration on arrival day.
