I love how friendly and knowledgeable everyone was. The campground was very organized and well planned out.I love that the kids are the top priority here. Everything from their safely to the dinning experience.My kids enjoyed every aspect of their experience.
I was worried about one of my kids because he doesn't do well in new situation's. He almost did go because he was so nervous. However he ended up having the best time. Both my boys said the horses was probably the best part. They can't wait to ride again. All the activities available made it possible to keep them engaged but not overwhelmed.
The whole camping experience started from the moment we stepped out of a vehicle. There was no waiting period for the fun to begin. Anxiety? Gone. Nerves turned into excitement.I literally watched their faces light up with anticipation.That was all do to the Staff. They where welcoming, friendly and enthusiastic. From the zoom meeting to pick up day was above and beyond what I expected. I can not recommend this place enough. I'm so blessed my boys got to experience this. It truly was the highlight of their summer.
The McQueen girls just love this camp. The kids love meeting new friends. And enjoy all the fun and laughter and learning new things and trying something different. The stories are always interesting on the ride home. Most of all the growth you see when they get home. They love staying in contact with their friends they made at camp Cullen. Great place for kids to find them self and grow.
Everyone was nice and friendly. We stay busy with a lot of stuff to do. The food was good too.
The equestrian camp was fantastic for our English Show Jumper. Lots of time doing what she loves.
My son loved everything about Camp Cullen. He had a bad experience at a prior camp so he was nervous about going to your camp. When I picked him up, he said he loved it and hopes he can come back. He met a friend who lives near us which is awesome. He said he really had fun with his camp counselors and that they were really nice. He loved the Wet Willie slide, ga-ga-ball, and so much more.
They are a variety of activities that are very fun for the kids!
That they have an specific week just for military kids; kids that have similar experiences with parents deployments and PCS.
This was an amazing facility that offered lots of activities and planned events for our kids
Your camp gave them a chance to mingle with other children. Creating lasting friendships. Enjoying activities through out the week of safe and fun activities. Thank you Camp Cullen summer of 2023!

Let me just start by saying, the drop off and pick up policies are just the greatest! Our boys have been to other camps and I feel camp Cullen was by far the best and easiest experience we’ve had! It was very organized and we were able to focus on the kids getting settled versus the chaos and confusion and where to bring each campers belongings for the week. Everything was taken care of when we arrived. The layout of the camp and cabins was extremely convenient and we were able to see pictures of our kids at camp easily and effortlessly with the Waldo app. Our boys had a really great time and our older son really opened up there with the boys in his cabin and his counselor. We felt very welcome and invited the moment we pulled up to hear the counselors chanting for the new arrivals to camp. The boys said the food was also good and that was a big factor at their last camps. They had lots of social activities to keep the kids active and moving throughout the day. Camp Cullen has been the best camp for both the campers and parents so far! We were extremely pleased with our experience there! We look forward to hanging out there again in the future!

Camp Cullen and their staff are extraordinary. I had 2 kids attend camp this summer, one was 13 and the other was 8, both boys. I don’t have enough good things to say about them. Both my boys came home so excited and begging to go back next year. To my surprise the horseback riding was their absolute favorite. I also have to say that the camp director, assistant director and counselors did such a great job at keeping this mama at ease. This was the first time I have been without my kids and I was nervous. The communication was so phenomenal and the pictures they sent almost everyday was what I needed to relax. I highly recommend this camp and can’t wait to see them next year.

I love that Camp Cullen feels like a family. From drop off until pick up the counselors and staff treat you and your child like you belong and you are part of their family.

The kids absolutely loved every minute of their experience at Camp Cullen. From all the activities, to the interactions with the other camp members, this is a moment in time they will remember forever. My girls came out of their week at camp more confident than they have ever been!

My kids have been to other YMCA Camps & they said yours was the best! They enjoyed the water activities the most & Cabin Carroll leader was inspirational to my daughter. She had some profound words of wisdom for the girls. I wish there were more Christian faith incorporated.
My kids love the camp.
My children had an absolute blast at camp. The facilities were updated and clean and the property was huge. They had a well structured and well supervised day. And, for probably the first time ever at summer camp, they said the food was actually delicious. We appreciate Camp Cullen for opening up their doors and allowing Operation Purple Camp to take over and enrich the lives of our military children.
Overall experience was great. All the different activities that is offered is the team building is also something that I fell my son really needed
I love that there were so many activities for my quadruplets to participate in. Loved that the camp counselors helped to make the week and all adventures as fun and inclusive as possible. The best parts though are the new friends made, the life long fun memories they made, and the stories that are told daily.
Thank you so much! My daughter loved everything. Made new friends! Done activities she has done in a while or ever. She loved tubing and horseback riding. She said the counselors were absolutely amazing and fun! Overall the best camping experience.
This is my daughter's third time going to Camp Cullen. She had an absolute blast! However, one of the activities she was most looking forward to was horseback riding. Since she was not in the specialty camp she was only able to go one time and that was time was very boring to her. I don't necessarily want her to do a specialty camp as I would like for her to try everything camp has to offer but we were definitely expecting for her to have at least a couple more opportunities to go ride. Based on her experience, we still would not opt for the specialty camp. She did enjoy a lot of other things

I believe the programs are just what we need before we go back to school.
