Before the pool/locker renovations the men's locker room had a large round table w/4-5 chairs around it by the drinking fountain. This made is easier for members to change after their work out was completed. A SS shelf above the hangers in the shower room would be nice also
I love that our SOYMCA still has a family "feel." I've been a member off and on for about 25 years. I also have a membership at another gym, but it doesn't come close to the Y. For one thing, the group exercise classes at the other gym are one size fits all. But they don't fit all, and honestly if you're older or have physical limitations, its very hard to participate in most classes. I love that the Y offers classes that are tailored to seniors like myself. Also, the pool at the Y is clean and large! I love that.

The exercise programs
We love the Y. I just wish the basketball courts were bigger or had two courts. One court for playing and one for practicing.
My daughter particpated in the summer camp, and really enjoyed it - the play, field trips, swimming, and I liked that you all had her reading, doing educational activities as well. I notice the facility has a certain vibe, great spirit among the staff and the members.

I love that the Y is very family friendly and has opportunities for both myself and my son. I love how the programs are fairly priced and staff is kind and friendly. My son is very sensitive and was highly upset about this metal art family sculpture outside the building, he was sad the family couldn't come into the y and enjoy it like he could and that they didn't have warm clothes. The staff at the Y heard about this and the next time we showed up the family had clothes on. It was so sweet and kind

I have been a member of the Y for over 30 years. I love the pool aerobics the best, but I enjoy the exercises in the gym. I come to the Y five days a week. I also have made many wonderful friends through the years at the Y. The staff and teachers are the best
