Friendly staff and members, good location and hours
Just need to clean the locker room a bit better/ more often. Lotsa hair on the walls, floor of shower area. Members do better!

Despite the lifeguard shortage, I absolutely love the pool and the lifeguard staff. I also love the mahjong group on Friday.
at the moment, i am only using the pool, somewhat sporadically. every interaction with you staff - be it at the desk, the life guards, or the cleaning staff has been excellent.

The classes and activities are great for everyone in my family. My kids love attending child watch to the point they dont want to leave. Everything is clean and well functioning. I cant say enough about how great full we are to have joined thr Y as the whole family.
Camaraderie makes it easier to keep working out and our teachers in AOA bring 2 different approaches to the table. Very helpful.
The Carl’s Y is a great place to be. Staff friendly and so helpful. The redo of the lockers is so wonderful. Love the colors. Have started personal training with Adrienne and have really enjoyed our sessions.

The Staff! It is always nice to be greeted by name as soon as I walk in the door! The workout staff are also outstanding and enthusiastic! Always a good sweat!

Before the pool/locker renovations the men's locker room had a large round table w/4-5 chairs around it by the drinking fountain. This made is easier for members to change after their work out was completed. A SS shelf above the hangers in the shower room would be nice also
I love that our SOYMCA still has a family "feel." I've been a member off and on for about 25 years. I also have a membership at another gym, but it doesn't come close to the Y. For one thing, the group exercise classes at the other gym are one size fits all. But they don't fit all, and honestly if you're older or have physical limitations, its very hard to participate in most classes. I love that the Y offers classes that are tailored to seniors like myself. Also, the pool at the Y is clean and large! I love that.
