I think everyone at the Y is very welcoming. The members are the same way. I never feel uncomfortable in an exercise class when I am trying to learn the new routine.
The staff is very kind. The classes are plentiful and well-done, and I have all of the exercise equipment that I need. Child watch is great as well; the staff care about the kids and interact with them.

I love how friendly and helpful the staff is. When I called recently about Zumba class to inquire whether a substitute would be available for Erica’s class, a staff member helped me by providing the information. There was a substitute for Zumba today, which was great.

My experience with the YMCA has been both enjoyable, educational and ergonomically efficient. I appreciate the wide range of class offerings and their electronic gym floor with mobile application and synced wrist bands at the Royal Oak location. I attend the the older adult fit class to get full body workouts with a challenge yet modifications when amd as needed. I would recommend for anyone looking to improve their weekly exercise engagement in a fun, family, Christian atmosphere.
Classes encourage participants to engage at their individual level.

Friendly environment and welcoming staff
The artist was very personable, and the hands-on presentation was appropriate for the entire family. We had participants from 8 years old to 68 years old.
The pool is a highlight, nice locker rooms, sauna, gym isn’t overly packed. Parking is accessible. Overall a pleasant experience each time I go.
Everyone -- staff and Y users -- are friendly and courteous.

The Customer Service team was eager to help the sign up was not complicated and I also received a welcome email with a lot of opportunities to try different opportunities that I always wanted to try with the Membership. I am really looking forward to my swim class coming up August 22.
