The Salem Y is a special place - I am in my 80's and everyone is so friendly and helpful - it makes it "easier" to get myself over there. So far I have met Nicole, Owen and Thomas who have been wonderful as well as others whose names I don't remember but I will soon

Theater Camp blew my mind! The production was so well done, it was hard to believe they put it together in 15 days from auditions to the performance days. So well choreographed and directed! You could see that clearly all the campers were having so much fun with it!

I like the sports, the swimming pool, beach and all activities. I believe this summer program is providing the best summer ever for my 2 kids. They are very happy.
I appreciate the flexibility and options of having two different camps this year. The beauty of growing up is getting to know what talents you have and how to explore them. Outdoor camps allow for you to disconnect from electronics and play outside and be active with your body. The indoor Vibes camp gets you disconnected as well and taps into your creative side. My boys were hesitant at first but discovered hidden talents they didn’t know they possessed, like sewing and acting! Very thankful for the warm staff at either location and the attentive and organized directors.
My daughter comes home from camp happy every day. She loves the activities and the staff. Every interaction I’ve with the staff is beyond pleasant , you can tell they really love kids and love what they do.
YMCA theater programs are a SAFE place for my child! The only place they've never been bullied. An excellent place to make friends who also just want to be themselves. All surrounded by supportive and unique adults.

I have just discovered that I can do the 8AM Row class that Beth teaches, albeit with some adaptations. I am so happy that I have found another great class at the Salem Y. I would much rather find classes at the Salem Y than drive to some of the other Ys in the area - though I do drive to the GB Sterling Y as they offer many more classes.

Staff are spectacular! Activities are a blast.
My child has a blast the in the summer theatre program. Only suggestion is I wish they could swim more days than just 1 day a week.

Love all the outdoor activities that you have for the kids. Especially the swimming with the kids. They love it and they learn to swim.
