we have a child in toddler 3. the teachers are incredible and are always doing interactive activities. every day there is a new activity and the lesson plan is wonderful - i am truly amazed at what they are teaching the toddlers. also, the kids are always outside which is great. the classrooms are clean and organized. the teachers encourage toilet training - which is very time-consuming and tricky, but they still do it! we appreciate that. our child LOVES being at school and we feel the YMCA childcare is the reason for his steady growth and development. what a nice environment to grow in!
The summer camp has been excellent. Engaged staff - friendly, helpful, happy, encouraging and fun. The drop off/pick up has been easy. Great projects, different happenings, lovely gymnastics show on Friday. My daughter is having a great time. Thank you!

Focus on outdoors and unique experience of Childrens island
Varied group of activities every day, swim time and beach time, plus a good mix of sports every day.
Loved the app for parents to see photos from the island since we don’t get to see it ourselves! It’s something we’re used to with school (ours uses the Seesaw app) and it’s very encouraging to know they’re trying new things and having a great day.
Easy drop off and pickup, lots of date options, swimming, and variety of programs offered. My daughter really enjoys the camps!

Great facilities, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and good programs.
It's easy to use the YMCA at this location- reasonable parking, an excellent pool facility, good treadmills and a really pleasant staff.
I like the group classes
Great program and great instructors. They really care about our kids, they make sure our babies are safe and happy. They incorporate great methods to boost our kids’ self esteem and they teach them valuable lessons! My son is happy!

The facilities and staff are exceptional in their service, programs, cleanliness and options to gain fitness in my life. I plan on being a YMCA member the rest of my life - I am 61 and retired

Loving Children’s Island camp!
The facility has a great layout and feel. I mostly use the pool to swim laps and I am happy that the kids have their own pool (and slide!) and the lap swimmers can have their own pool, too.
Great facility. Clean. Friendly and helpful staff.
Clean and quiet. I am not a big fan of the new ellipticals, though. :( I liked the old ones better.
Camp staff was excellent. Wished you serviced lunch.

My daughter and I are new to the YMCA and I have to say so far I am so happy that we joined. My daughter did 2 gymnastics classes, April school vacation camp and one week of summer day camp. She had so much fun and most importantly learned a lot. The staff is amazing, they are so kind and caring it's wonderful.
