We love the Y, however can you do something regarding the family locker rooms? There are not enough of them and it would make more sense if we had one big family locker room, similar to the Lynn Y. Before /after swim lessons and open swim there is always a long line to wait for the family bathrooms. I have a son so that means as a mom I can’t bring him into the girls locker room or the boys and have to wait 20 minutes for a family room. As family members, we pay the most per month and are definitely getting penalized in terms of having a comfortable place to get our small kids dressed. Thank you!

We are a part of the cornerstone program. The YMCA is a wonderful, caring community.

As an older person I love to go to the Y in the midday hours. There is a wonderful combination of high ceilings, natural light, uncrowded space, a variety of machines and friendly staff. The ready smiles of Jeff and Jo-elle are particularly warm and inviting.

Coaches are great at growing technical skills as well as social skills.

I have nothing but positive feedback with regards to the YMCA North Shore Elite cheer program. It’s an amazing program with the most outstanding coaching staff. It keeps my daughter active and fit and she has gained long lasting relationships. In fact so have I. Her love for cheer has certainly grown and her experience and skills continue to excel. 5 stars.

Love the gymnastics program! Love coach Kaitlyn. My son absolutely loved the preschool boys tumbling class and my daughter loves the toddler gymnastics. Engaging, fun and well run

The Lynch/van Otterloo Y is a welcoming and vibrant place! Everyone is friendly but also professional. Great place to workout and get healthy!

Great atmosphere

First and foremost the administration and staff are extremely welcoming and attentive. There is always a warm welcome upon entering the Y and staff members encountered in the gym and elsewhere walking around acknowledge your presence and are eager to help. The facilities are clean and staff are always cleaning machines in the workout area. Additionally, there are numerous and varied fitness classes to serve one’s needs. A Y membership is well worth the monthly fee charged as other gyms and facilities charge much more and most do not have swimming pools a available for use.

We love this Y! We have belonged to many different Y's and this one is probably our favorite. The only tiny suggestion would be to get more equipment as on the weekends almost everything is taken, especially the treadmills.

I like the space and it's convenient. I also like that you have expanded your hours a bit.

It was a bit dirty and dusty for awhile, but that seems to have cleared up. So, I'm back to being happy with it.

We love basketball, Coach Nick is so great with the kids. We are incredibly happy to be part of the program.

Competitiveness and the sports director addresses issues right away.

The basketball coach is amazing and the sports director is super friendly and approachable.

Group exercise

I have been a member for years and really enjoy working out. I am an avid user of the Squash Courts and the fitness center.

Zumba with Tania is amazing. She has great energy and paces the classes perfectly so we're not feeling rushed. Her music and choreography is great. I bring my family with me and it's so much fun to dance together.

Zumba is why I joined the Y! Love it!
