Variety and latest cardio equipment
Connections that staff makes with kids!
Open gym is a great way to burn off energy when it is too cold, hot or rainy to be active outdoors. We love open gym and appreciate that this is offered on weekends in the summer.
great experience
This is our second year back ! My son LOVES the CIT program! He LOVES the staff . He would go all summer if we could swing it! We fly home to MA from FL every summer for him to attend. He loves being out on the water, he loves the staff the activities . He LOVES being responsible and he geniunely loves this whole expirience. It has really taught him reponsibility and time management and he feels a sense of freedom and I feel safe that hes basically on an island and cant get off lol. He won CIT of the week and he was SOOOOOOOOOOproud of himself he also just won a 20k scolarship for his high school and I could not be more proud of Trey. Thank you all so much! Side note:My younger brother and sisters as well as my older son attended almost 20 years ago and I did the day trips with park and rec in High school. We were all memebrs of the YMCA in Marblehead So this is something my whole family has done and loved! I would love to also mention my interactions wwith Sandy and just how how professional she is and has had to help me MULTIPLE times because I am rediculous and she is always paitient and knowlegable !
everything. The Y offers a variety of programs for the entire family.
It's our 1st year doing camp and we are loving it!
The greeters at the door are always helpful and friendly. The facility is clean. The workout room is so well stocked with machines and options. It's lovely with windows and overlooks. I love the flexibility to work out in aerobics rooms when there are no classes in them. I like that it's quiet - rarely any music pumping. I can hear my own music or podcasts. Rules are gently enforced - for example children are welcome, but there is definitely someone making sure they are safe when they use equipment. The machines have great screens with options to watch or play games. There is always an easy space to get changed in and use bathrooms. The general atmosphere is friendly without feeling like you have to socialize if you just want to get in and out and do your thing. I have never had a bad interaction with anyone, and it just feels easy and fun. Parking can be a challenge at peak times - that's the only difficulty!
All camps, groups, activities, etc. hosted by the YMCA are always great - well done, organized, and enjoyable.

The counselors. In particular Scott Montefusco. STILL being both a counselor and the nurse. If he wasn't there I'd be concerned actually
