Always friendly great facility and programing
The variety of water based classes, the outdoor pool, the indoor pools, the high quality of the instructors, especially Heather Saxe and Meg.
This was a third year at Y camp for my kids, and every year it’s getting better and better! My daughter was in the gymnastics camp, and loved it! She can’t wait for next summer! My son joined a soccer camp this year, and it was excellent! Big Thank You to all the staff members at the Y, you are all amazing!!!
It is a wonderful place and resource for fitness
Love everything about LVO YMCA - EXCEPT the saunas!! They are terrible! And i'm not just saying that because they're out of order right now - which is fine. Infrared sauna has NO science behind it compared to traditional dry heat sauna. Dry heat sauna is extensively studied and excellent for mental health and cardiovascular health - infrared IS NOT. PLEASE put in real saunas. PLEASE. Please. They are not substitutes. Otherwise, I absolutely love it.
Great place, great classes. Some of the dance classes need way better instruction, though (Zumba and bellydancing) - it's like the instructor is just dancing for themselves! And it's way too fast.
My son loved the gymnastics camp. He’s a very busy and active 5 yo so having different activities all day long was a great fit for him.
Easy access to many different types of exercise. Love the community feel of all ages, all welcome. Clean, friendly , bright work it spaces.
It’s convenient and it has everything I’m looking for in a workout.

This ymca is fabulous! I bring my granddaughter to swim every Friday. The guards are like our friends now.
The pool is a 10! The warm pool is a 10!
The family locker room is interesting and always very clean.
Work out area has everything. . You have great machines and all the props needed for stretching, strengthening and rehab.
Thanks to all the people who work there and the Board of Directors.
Keep up the great work and many thanks!!
Once I retire I would like to get involved.
I hear there is no lost and found? What an opportunity for a nonprofit to help distribute lost items to folks in need.
I was very happy that there was parking during what was, likely, a busy time. Brenton spent some time showing me a variety of machines I can use when I begin working out. It was good to get an introduction to these machines since it's been many years since I used machines as part of my workouts. People were very friendly. It was a nice visit.
So many options for classes, swim program, and excellent instructors! Very clean facility
All the offerings and community.
Great staff. Great equipment.
Great classes and people. But I’m disappointed that studio 1 is now filled with weights and there are never more than a few people in there where we need it for classes with 15 people.
Great facility, group classes and the instructors are amazing.
Love the variety of activities done throughout the day
Clean facilities, a lot of different activities that are family friendly, and a cafe with great food/drink options
Very nice facility, well run, friendly staff, well maintained equipment.
Why not ?
Everyone is welcoming. The instructors are knowledgeable and give a complete workout. There’s a wide variety of classes offered
Scott Montefusco isn't just top 5 dead or alive, he's the greatest camp counselor of all time. Gabrielle Dulong is a classy lady of the highest order.
It offers a variety of classes. Great instructors. Lots of equipment and help navigating if needed.
Always a friendly atmosphere. Clean and organized. Has everything you could want in a gym.
It's a great gym. Something for everyone. I just wish the womens sauna was larger. It's always packed in the 7-9 am window.. The mens is much larger!
MONTHLY FEE IS AFFORDABLE, ALL EMPLOYEES AREE EXTREMLY SOCIABLE AND ARE A PLEASURE TO SPEAK WITH REGARDING EQUIPMENT AND POLICIES FOR USE OF THE FACILITY.
My kids come home tired because they've been playing and running around all day which they need.
My kids are obsessed with children’s island. They would want to go all summer but we live in Oregon. My older kid will age out of CITs after next summer, so she’s devising a plan to ask to be a counselor the last weeks of camp to fill in for departing college kids. When I was a counselor on the island, we had to be there all summer and before and after for clean up, so I’m not sure that’s possible… point is, they love it and can’t wait to go back.
I love the Legends Hill program. My son has been in it all summer and loves the variety and has had the kindest things to say about all his counselors: he has grown more confident in himself!

There is so much offered! Something for everyone!
