I really Enjoy going the Y in Gloucester. The place is clean and offers a lot of classes that I enjoy.

Austin is enthusiastic and supportive . He gets all the girls excited to try new things and leads them along the way . This has been a great experience just starting out with basketball !

I love the opportunity to have the program locally. I do think the teams need to be more evenly distributed. There was 1 Jr. Celtics team Porzingas that has a lot of tall kids on it and my daughter hated playing against them because they lost by a lot every time. She said it wasn't fun. Maybe consider asking height so that doesn't happen again in the future.
It was also pure chaos on Saturday mornings with so many people coming and going and lack of parking. We had to park in the apartment lot a few times because there was not 1 parking spot. I think timing it with the New Years resolution people added to that.

All in all, it was a great program and we will sign up again

Austin is great! You can tell he cares about the sports & the kids. The dad's who coach have been truly amazing, dedicating their time. They were great when my son started, as he started late. They let him try a game & then prorated the rest of the season for him!! Great program

The facility is large and new, with lots of fitness equipment readily available for use for busy working folks trying to work out during their work week. Staff is friendly and helpful. Site is at a convenient location in the city.

My son participates in the Junior celtics program and really loves it. His coach is absolutely amazing and auper encouraging with the kids. It makes the Y a better place

Having girls-only basketball offerings is great, and Austin does a terrific job connecting with the kids and gives real good & fun instruction. Our girls love the program!

The Cape Ann YMCA offers numerous group exercise classes and state of the art equipment in a facility that is well cared for and expertly administered. The staff, almost to a person, is friendly, accommodating, polite and professional. They respond promptly and effectively to requests and feedback. Your voice counts at this Y and efforts are made to accommodate everyone.

Beautiful facility - good classes. We just need more pickleball and mirrors in the Pilates studio.

The Y is a great facility, a much needed improvement over the old Y downtown. One request- we have asked before if the spin class that is scheduled at the same time as Restorative Yoga at 9 on Mondays and Friday’s could be rescheduled for perhaps an hour later. The noise from the spin class is entirely disruptive to the tone of the yoga class. This would be a simple fix. Thank you.

I can’t say enough good things about Heidi and the work she does. It’s amazing how she brings out the best in the kids, juggling so many different personalities and still putting on shows that are genuinely fun to watch. So far, Aurora's been in 3 Holiday Delights performances and 3summer theater camps, and every time she grows more confident and excited about performing.

Honestly, we were a bit disappointed to learn that the summer camp is being moved to the Rockport T.C. this year. The Y’s location is not only more convenient for us, but the facility itself feels like such a big part of the program’s success. I’ve always loved seeing members walk by the rec room and stop to watch the kids rehearse—it creates this wonderful sense of pride and community. I’ve even heard members say they were buying tickets to the show just because they’d seen the kids practicing!

Theater has been such a bright spot for Aurora, and I can’t imagine what we’d do without it. I hope the program continues to be supported—

Very clean & many classes to sign up for.

Front desk people are extremely pleasant and helpful. My grandchild has been taking group swimming lessons. The staff is amazing. Both in their skills and abilities to relate to young children. I feel my granddaughter has made great progress and loves going to swim lessons!

the people who work there are very nice and friendly, it is very clean, the treadmills have a high turnover rate.

The Gloucester Y is a very welcoming place. The facility is clean, staff is friendly and always bustling but not over crowded. So many classes and activities to choose from.
