Although I'm only taking advantage of the Y in a small way (joining a friend to do strength training a couple days a week), I've been instantly impressed by the atmosphere: airy, background music is just at the right level, clean, spacious. I can see that I may be drawn into taking some classes. TBD - but it's been a great start!

Something for everyone
My kids are very happy there! Great staff! The only thing we struggle with is when my boys have to get split up into different groups due to ages as it separates my youngest from his brother and cousins which is very hard fir him :( and the reason he looks forward to the end of the day, I wish parents could request to keep them together….but besides that, we love everything about the ymca crew and everything they provide for our kids! :)
I also do understand the age thing…it’s just hard for a small child to understand and deal with when all he wants to do is play with his fam.
The staff is knowledgeable and approachable. The equipment is up to date. The classes are varied and fun. The programs are affordable.

Excellent facility and it's become a big part of my life. Most importantly is the role the Y provides to the community of Cape Ann.

The people are pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. I can't say enough about how great the people who work there are. Also, it is clean and there is enough equipment for everyone. The locker rooms are spacious and bright. In general, it is a busy, upbeat place I look forward to going to.
It has very friendly staff, it is clean, and has a wide variety of fitness options to choose from. I love it!
