It is a top notch facility with fabulous trainers. The physical plant is very well maintained and the clientele are all very friendly. I enjoy spending time exercising at the Gloucester Y.

The facility is great - well maintained. I enjoy working out with the equipment on the 2nd floor - eGYM is also great. The staff is well trained and always helpful.

Why are you so likely to recommend the Y?

I genuinely love the YMCA, it’s the best value for the dollar I spend, hands down, and my family and I say that every time we go. I really appreciate being able to use multiple locations depending on what I want to do: the pool in Ipswich, aerobics classes in Beverly, and the spin room and hot yoga in Gloucester. The front desk staff are always welcoming and kind, which makes a big difference. I’m 50, and I’ve also become friendly with regulars in their 60s, 70s, and even 80s, seeing them stay active is incredibly inspiring and a great reminder of how to age well. The Y has become a core part of my routine, and I honestly couldn’t enjoy it more.

The Y has great classes and workout space. The pool is awesome. Very easy to use the facility and staff are very helpful.

I would love to see more Pilates classes, and some boxing classes!

The staff are so polite helpful and friendly. They are always there to answer questions and make the classes I attend a pleasant rewarding experience. I am encouraged to reach my potential and health goals because of this. It is a community of the most talentedand caring individuals and I am grateful for all that they bring

It's a great organization and it supports many people across the community. The older demographic also needs these services to remain active and vital in the community. It also is there to provide opportunities for those less fortunate that really needs help in staying healthy. All around, your mission supports all.
