I wish the steam room could have a longer steam emission time so it could get a bit hotter.
The staff is amazing—always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The facility is well maintained and exceptionally clean. Each time I visit, I’m reminded how many people face physical challenges and how compassionately and skillfully the staff supports them. We’re very fortunate to have such a wonderful resource in our community.

The Cape Ann YMCA is a very clean, comfortable environment to exercise in. The gym is large with a good amount of machines for every type of workout desired. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

THERE ARE SO MANY CLASSES AND CHOICES FOR EXERCISE.
Ruth's Hydrofit classes are the BEST. I also loved Vanessa's PowerWaves class and I was very sad to hear the it was replaced by an Aqua dance class.
Cape Ann Y is a well managed business. The facility is clean, uncluttered, and organized. Cassie does a great job managing the pool classes. I'd love to see more morning PowerWaves classes.
One last comment - the lovely woman who cleans the ladies locker room is AMAZING, She's conscientious, so kind, and never stops working. I hope the Y really appreciates her efforts. She clearly takes pride in her work.

Thus far, my use of the facilities are exclusive to the gym, locker rooms and both are well maintained. So important and prized.
It's almost like a luxury gym at a bargain price. So very clean and good gym etiquette is enforced. Equipment is all well maintained. The exercise and yoga classes are amazing and teachers are all trained professionals. Couldn't find a better value for the money, and love the sense of community. The steam room in the locker room is a wonderful treat at the end of a good workout. I have a hybrid plug in vehicle, and the free charging almost pays for my membership. Love they Y!
