I always have a great experience when I go to the Y! I often see people I know and it’s a positive experience to check in and know that we’re all feeling good working on our health & wellness. I like that there’s so much space upstairs by the machines and to do individual exercises with free weights. And I like the classes that range from fast paced work-outs, to mind-body & very restorative

the answer eye hope will never change, it is because the Y team runs the GTM cape ann facility so that it is a no brainer user friendly easy access child proof even foolproof. thank you staff thank you a million times

The coach was great with the kids and so patient. My daughter had a blast.

YMCA facility and programs are exceptional in their ability to help members health and increased fitness. The entire facility is very clean and addresses the most current virus standards enabling members to be safe and healthy

Classes are amazing and good friendly vibe. I came from a somewhat competitive gym in downtown Boston. People are more down to earth and don't take themselves too seriously.

Reasonably priced membership and great amenities available.

My child is always looking forward to swimming class. He confidently acquired skills and enjoys being around at the facility. At some point, I suggested we switch to a weeknight, but he declined. He loves his Saturday morning group!

Friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, broad array of well-maintained modern equipment, spacious facilities, lots of programs offered for members.

A few notes:

The men's locker room needs to be about twice the size to accommodate the number of members. The shower area should be a separate from the changing area to keep the changing area floor dry. The locker room needs a better, more accurate scale, and a hair dryer would be a nice addition. And it would be nice if the facility was open a little later at night.

Great program for my 4 year old learning gymnastics skills

The instructors are incredible and the class selection is fabulous. Loving the use of the outdoor turf for classes in the nice weather.

Facilities are what I need and are clean, staff is friendly. what's not to like?

That and the steam room. Very important to me personally and to lots of other people as well. Love that steam room!

If i had to make any request for changes, I'd say to (1) add more large-size lockers to the men's room, and (2) turn down the music. It's good music, but sometimes - not always, but sometimes - I can't hear my own audio without turning it up so loud my phone warns me that I might hurt my ears.

The teachers, Stephanie and Jamie, are skilled, caring, patient, fun and really convey a sense of joy and pride in their work. They’ve been flexible in accommodating skill levels and personalities. My son Wilder always looks forward to swim each week.
