We think that the new Y is an outstanding facility. It is spacious and airy and well equipped. Although the reception staff seems to change quickly, almost everyone is courteous. There are a wide variety of classes and most of the teachers I've had are excellent and personable. Every time I enter this Y I'm amazed that it is in Gloucester.
The entire facility is incredible. They offer something for everyone. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

I love taking classes at the Y, especially Strength Train Together! And the facility is fantastic.
The family and I have only been once so far, but it is the first and only TRUE family oriented program that is in Gloucester. When I was growing up, "low income," the YMCA welcomed me with open arms and truly occupied my free time along with many others.. I believe the teen center that was located in the center of willow wood park was also run by the YMCA but I could be mistaken. That was an especially significant program that really helped keep kids of all ages busy all day.. i hope to see it come back around and gain the attention of the younger generations again.. and the Art Space with Shep weekly.. My walk through at the new YMCA and the positive attitudes that all the employee was above and beyond. They helped me with all my needs, including financial, so i could include myself and my entire household in all sorts of different activities at a very reasonable price that I could realistically maintain.
I have three children, 2 with specific sensory, behavior and emotional needs and im easily able to say that i feel very comfortable with the new location, environment, as well as the staff that i have cross paths with thus far. even only being one day..I look forward to meeting more of the members as we make our way throughout the different areas offered.

The program is very good. Specially helping the kids finish the home work. Also, they are very patience is the parents when they get there late.
Miss. Meghaen is amazing. She is such a great communicator and she has the best preschool skills.
The engagement level with the kids from the staff at Rockport Elementary is terrific, and our children love it there! Staff is always communicative and friendly!

It fun to be in a mixed group of people working out.
People are friendly. Exercise is so good for us. Parking is free and usually easily accessible. Easy fast check-in. Great that it's near the stores where I can shop easily.
