Why are you so likely to recommend the Y?

The Cape Ann Y is by far the finest community exercise & health facility I've been in. It has everything from health and exercise classes, to a fantastic assortment of exercise equipment, an indoor pool, and a children's play area. The hours of operation for the facility are long allowing members to exercise at the time of their choice. The facility is very clean and seems very well run. I've just moved to Gloucester, and I'm grateful to have The Cape Ann Y located nearby.

What do you like about our program and activities?

Being part of numerous Y group sports programs, my child has developed a strong foundation of so many life skills: teamwork, empathy, humility (missing a shot is a bummer but part of the game), and discipline (practice & focus). We are grateful to coach Austin for being a professional role model!

What do you like about our program and activities?

Our instructor Austin is an amazing coach. We have signed up for multiple sports programs including Soccer, basketball, Jr Celtics and several sports mania camps. He done a fantastic job keeping the participants engaged as well as developing fundamental skills with each discipline. He is encouraging and knowledgeable.

What do you like about our program and activities?

Austin is unbelievable with these kids! I have 3 kids ages 4, 7 and 11 year old boys and he’s so great with all ages! We are so lucky to have him in Gloucester!!! He’s fun, kind, motivated, organized and makes everything exciting!

Love this facility, very clean and updated and has everything you could want. Have yet to try out the classes but would love to try pilates and yoga.
