Impressive facilities; capable upbeat staff, focus on local community.

I would recommend the YMCA to anyone! The front staff are very friendly and informative. I felt very comfortable there

Appreciate the efforts to provide a clean, well run workout facility. Staff responds to any concerns and are always friendly and helpful. Equipment is usually accessible for all and efforts are being made to promote cooperation and efficient use of the exercise machines.

I have recommended the Y to family members and friends, they say the Y is too expensive to join, they belong to another gym close by that is cheaper per month

Cornerstone for myself and my spouse

I love the variety of classes and times available in the pool.

Great facility and staff

Great facilities
Wonderful teachers

Quality of facilities and helpful staff.

Clean facilities, friendly staff, and rarely if ever have to wait for what I want to do. Wide variety of classes. Membership reflects the community. It feels very comfortable for someone who exercises in shorts and a T shirt instead of fancy athletic wear.

Great teachers, facility, friendliness of staff, cleanliness, offerings. I appreciate the little "heads up" signs around the Y too - about locking things because there have been thefts, about how you do background checks on members, etc. Good to know but not in your face. It's a great place - more than just a gym. I'm new to Gloucester and I've met some wonderful people through the Y.

Love the new YMCA!

I love the classes offered, many options and excellent instructors. Vanessa is amazing and i love how open and helpful she is in offering alternatives to people who may not like an exercise or have an injury etc. She does not shame you and keeps you motivated. Also the gym is always clean and everyone does a good job cleaning after using machines and equipment. It’s a beautiful facility with lots of light and openness.

Great equipment, professional staff, clean facility, and friendliness.

Location, new facility,

Austin, the coach is fantastic with the kids. He’s very adaptable to meet the different abilities and learning styles. One of my boys is autistic and Austin has always made him feel included and this is huge for my son and he absolutely loves basketball!

It’s a beautiful facility, the staff are all so friendly and the variety and amount of pool classes is great!!

Its great

Love the instructors! We look forward to our baby’s swim class each week— the staff is talented, kind, patient, and we feel very safe with their instruction.

Glad to have the flexibility in the region to use the Cape Ann facility pool while the pool in Beverly undergoes renovation this summer.
