Opportunity to play new courses in our area. Like the team concept.
My son was able to play and experience a range of different golf courses. He was also able to apply his lesson skills and etiquette with other young golfers. As a result of his 3 years as a JR PGA golfer, he has become a life long golfer!
The ability for my children to interact with others and learn etiquette skills.
My son loved having a team activity to participate in this summer. The coach had lessons for the golfers who wanted to participate! Thank you for such a positive experience.
Love that this sport teaches golf skills, teamwork, sportsmanship AND respect - golf etiquette.
Great outside sport option during this pandemic.
Very surprised that the league didn't demand a ton of parent volunteer time. While we understand why families need to contribute time to athletics, it was simply refreshing to find one that didn't.
I'm a golfer with way to many bad habits. This gives my grandson the opportunity to learn and, hopefully, not pick up my bad swing habits. Also the interaction and competions are good for him.
great program, develops skills and team-play tourney experiences ... really great foundation for HS and further junior golf.
Very well coordinated and organized. Coaches and instructors were excellent.
Great chance to make friends and improve game in a safe way
Time to play for my son, with guidance. I do not play well and there are few options
Super fun format for the kids
The team aspect and the ability to play and practice whenever necessary.
This is a great program for kids and I am glad it is here I just wish more kids could play. Kids grow up and play just about every sport but golf unless their parents are doing it. Every other sport has a rec league or select teams. My kids did soccer, baseball, softball, basketball, football, wrestling but only my son plays golf and that is because I am a member. It is tough to grow this great game but this is a good start.
Competitive but fun, engaging experience for the kids.
Outstanding instruction from the Beloit Club.
Individual competition.
Well organized.
Tournaments are well done and cater to all levels.
It gives the players a great opportunity to play different courses while competing and having fun.
Great experience for our son!
Competition day being best ball. Gave children chance to play freely without overwhelming fear of failure.
We liked that it gave our son a chance to regularly play golf with other children of varying abilities.
I love that kids can experience playing at different golf courses. My kids had a lot of fun with the competition and teamwork.
Our member course (Edgewood - Big Bend, WI) had great leaders and were encouraging to all players throughout the season. Not my son's first or second sport choice over the summer -- but with COVID taking away so many options for him, this was a fun activity in a not-so-fun summer for our kids.
The kids get an introduction to match play but in a more relaxed environment and low pressure due to Scramble format. they were always matched up against kids of similar talent.
they got a chance to see and play with other's their age and see varying degrees of talent.
Thank you for making it happen safely this year!
It is really fun for the kids and great for all levels.
The coach was very helpful and supportive of our child.
Great stepping stone for kids that are not ready to play tournaments alone!
A wonderful program for exposing kids to golf! Great instructors that made it fun for the kids.
Introduces kids to competitive golf in a non-intimidating environment. Allows them to have fun with other kids who enjoy golf/competition.
Loved seeing my boys learn about a sport in a low-stress, low-risk environment that they can play for the rest of their lives.
more golf experiences for emerging players
exposure to other courses

learning rules

The coaches did a great job. My son was able to learn a lot and helped his golf game. The whole experience made him more enthusiastic and motivated to get better. We look forward to next season.
