Great coaches, courses, overall mission
This was my 6th graders' first taste of competitive golf. It was a nice / laid-back way for them to be in events, etc. They seemed to really enjoy it!
Exposing children to the game of golf at a young age and teaching the values of the game
The golf pros at all of the clubs we were involved with were phenomenal. They took time to explain the rules to the kids and make everything about learning even though competition was involved. Thank you to everyone associated with the events and to everyone who donated their time!

PGA Jr League teaches kids how to be good golfers, not just how to golf. The flag format teaches them that every shot matters, and to work together, something that strictly stroke play golf does not necessarily do. First Tee teams make the best Jr. League teams overall because they the rules, how to play, and have better cohesiveness than teams that are patched together from country clubs or golf clubs.
It was well organized and the coach was a great teacher for the kids. He also taught about the game of golf and not just skills.
It is a welcoming atmosphere. All ages and abilities can play.
We love it! We just wish there were more teams, more players, and a longer season.
The friendships made, playing with a partner on a team, traveling to regionals and nationals. It was a fun program!
I like that it gives young golfers a chance to compete on real golf courses.
Fun events for the kids and like the 2 man scramble format
Structure or match play scramble
Great program!! My kids get a regular practice time weekly, and a opportunity to play competitively at out local course or great close by golf courses on a regular basis. The kids love and really enjoy going the the golf course!!! Mission accomplished!!
My daughter liked the overall concept of the league.
She joined a private club’s team, there was no team atmosphere, only 2 practices and the coach did not show up to 2 of the matches without even giving notice before or after the fact. The concept of the league was great, but the team she was a part of was an extreme disappointment. She will be looking for a new team next year.
We had a great experience this year. Brent Johnson was fantastic. He held many practices and we played at a wide variety of locations.
Awsome coach.
It was a great way to get the kids playing golf. Our Club did a very good job with the kid, they really enjoyed it.
I love that the kids are placed in a non-stressful yet competitive situation.
Lots of fun and exercise for the boys. They really enjoy themselves
This is the best golf program. My son thoroughly enjoyed it!
It's a great thing!
PGA Jr. league has been so great for our son. He really loves it and has met so many supportive coaches and made lots of friends.
The golf courses are fantastic and Frank is a wonderful instructor!! My son had a great time and really learned a lot!
Opportunity for my younger son to play and compete in a golf event. Being around older kids that enjoy the game helps with the younger kids staying committed to the game.

I thought it was a great experience and intro into competitive play for kids of this age range. IMO, it is also a great intro into match play. The coaches were great in our local chapter how they handled the kids and the idea behind what they should take away from this league.
Overall..I am very pleased and happy with the program.
