We had a great time. Pace of play was a HUGE HUGE problem. This was evident after the first or second, nine hole scrambles. It would’ve been best served if the older children were able to play ahead or spaced out from the younger members of the junior PGA. Multiple Mondays involved nine whole scrambles lasting over 3 1/2 hours. I think that this experience would be much more enjoyable if the older children had a better pace of play
In addition, the junior PGA should think about having junior tee boxes on certain of the long holes at diamond run golf club. There are some holes that are over 500 yards, suggesting starting some of the tee boxes in the middle of the fairways would also promote a better pace of play.

Everything about the league was great. Having it in the evening, all the instructors, the amount of practice and instruction were all great for this age range. My only complaint is that there isn’t a fall/spring league! Thank you for doing this.

Style of play
The Jr. PGA League has been such a wonderful experience for my son. He loved having the opportunity to play new courses, meet new friends, and enjoy the game he loves in a fun, supportive environment. The league does a fantastic job of making golf exciting for kids while also teaching them teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence on the course. We’re so grateful for the coaches and organizers who make it such a positive experience—highly recommend to any family looking to get their child more involved in golf!
It was a really great experience. I would say that the tees should be spread out more for all star events to level the playing field between the 10/11 boys and the 12/13 boys. Often on Par 4s there was negligible difference between the tees, but a considerable difference in driving distance between the older and younger players.
My son really enjoyed golf this summer. As parents we were hoping for a little more instruction from coaches for the kids. Overall was a good experience.
The junior league allows kids to compete at a young age. My child was able to determine her strengths and weaknesses while competing against others her same age. She will now work in the fall and winter on improving her game for next season.
