I like that young golfers are given the opportunity to go out and compete at golf no matter the skill level
Consistent teaching; positive and fun environment/
It's a great way to introduce kids to the game. Playing scramble really takes a lot of the pressure off. We were lucky to attend regionals back to back years in syracuse and the kids and parents had a great time.
The events were run well, very organized, and fun for the participants. The only negative takeaways are: (1) the locations are very spread apart and difficult to get to while working and managing tournament scheduled AND (2) some of the course conditions where far less than ideal.
Good. Does need to enforce the residence criteria better because team misuse the loop hole and impedes the game getting to for less fortunate kids who does not have access to a platform to experience..
Golf is not reaching to the average youth because of the built nature of the sport...
Competitive golf is a great way for kids to learn the game.
My son loved it.
It’s a great league for beginners and intermediate players. Serious but also laid back enough that it’s enjoyable.
Gets kids exposure to the great game of golf. Scramble format allows kids of varying ages to play together and learn from one another.
Great courses, wonderful to start my 10 year-old out at this level in a relaxed, professional environment!
It is very well-run and professional.
It is a great springboard for budding kid golfers!
Amazing opportunity for our sons - on and off the course! Leadership, skills building, and more. Could not be happier.
Totteridge did an excellent job with this program.
PGA Jr league offers a great atmosphere and format for kids to enjoy and develop skills in the game of golf. It's also a friendly environment with coaches and parents.
Safe, fun space to learn the game!
It is a great experience for the kids. they get to learn the game and then have fun with some competition in a safe comfortable environment.
Everything
We loved it. Coaching was great. Lot of good opportunities to practice and play.
Great opportunity for my son to play golf and make friends.
Thought it was a great introduction for golf for the kids.
Brian Klocek (Totterridge) is amazing with the kids. Provides great coaching but is also completely supportive regardless of performance. We wouldn’t want to do jr pga with anyone else.
My kids only complaint is they want new colors for jerseys next year so they can guild a collection 😂.
Great opportunity for kids to learn about and gain experience playing golf.
Great opportunity to learn the game in a relaxed environment.
Competition. It gives the kids an opportunity to use what they’ve learned in First Tee clinics on the golf course.
It gave my son the opportunity to play golf during the summer.
It’s a great event for the kids. it was my son‘s first year and he loved it
I like that the kids work together as a team - our pro pairs older and younger players together. The older player often helps the younger player with what to hit and where to aim. I really like that any player can have an impact on their team too. I saw a 4 year old sink a 20 ft putt! It is great to see kids take an interest in golf and play the best ball. It makes for less frustration - and capping how many shots they can hit also helps! My boys had a wonderful experience playing Jr PGA
Relaxed atmosphere

Great way to get young kids interested in a life long activity. And it can be competitive for those looking to take it to another level.
