There were some ups and downs trying to get a new team organized. When a problem arose, there was a very quick response and solution. The PGA Jr. League team was great to work with.
My daughter had such a great time ! She was the first to sign up for the fall season.
Our home course also hosted the Family Cup event. Everyone had a fun time.

The kids get the experience of playing the game against someone and learning the rules. I like that they play with a teammate and they play the best ball. They all get experience that way and get a chance to improve their skills, all while having fun with a friend!
Ideal format for both newer and experienced players (2-person scramble). Team aspect (uniforms, etc).

It was a great program! The coaching was excellent and the players had a chance to play with other players in their skills and above to learn. They also got to experience some really nice courses.

The whole concept is awesome for the young golfers. The staff became like family seeing the golfers week after week. They knew the names of the players and had their best interests at heart This was my grandsons first year it was a great experience for him to particpiate in the events and meet so many young people that he would never have met. The growth of these young people through this program was amazing At the beginning of the season they were strangers. By the end of the year they greeted each other with handshakes as they arrived to complete. The tournaments prepared my grandson for his tryouts for his high school golf team. The experience he gained this summer helped him make the team as a freshman. We look forward to participating next season. Great program with great people. Thank you.
Good learning for kids as a team , discipline and of course golf

The sportsmanship kids learn from traveling/hosting other clubs. Introducing yourself, taking turns, etc.

I liked how the PGA Jr League made it fun for the kids, and helped them learn about golf. The scramble was very nice because it was not too intense or stressful for the kids and made it more fun.
Team work, kids learn from each other, kids learn strategy
Good instruction, very knowledgeable coaching staff that were interested in helping kids of all skill levels. Well organized with weekly updates. We traveled an hour from home, but were treated like we were locals that played the course weekly.

My 9 yr old had a great time - great format to introduce the kids to the game.
The instructor Frank Blazewick was excellent with the kids, especially the range in ages and skill level. He was very patient. It was also a reasonably affordable way to introduce the game of golf to my son.
