We love PGA Jr League. Our son looks forward to seeing the friends he has made and his coaches. They work well on targeting what a youth needs to succeed and do well in instilling the skills. Parent/Coach communication is great as well.
I loved the program at Scioto. The PGA Junior League matches were great once a month. Myself and family members really enjoyed watching. It was fun for them to get golf experience in a fairly laid back format.
Golf can be a lonely sport. My daughter enjoys playing on a team and really has had fun especially on her All Star team.
Why not a 10? Your branding is terrible. The shirts are so ugly year over year but the hats they were giving out at the regional championships were downright atrocious. The hats will be kept *only* as a laugh at the kids graduation. The shirts will never be worn again. I’d say we’d have fun burning them if I didn’t fear getting poisoned from the chemicals in the material. Do better PGA Jr League!

The PGA Jr League is a great way to get your kid into competitive golf and ease them into loving the game. It was so much fun spending the time on the course with my son and competing.
I see it as a great way to teach the kids about the fundamentals and etiquette of golf. My grandson learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Our coach, Jana Shipley, is amazing with the kids. We love the team-oriented nature of the match play format, the golf jerseys with their name/number and overall the supportive family atmosphere!
This is our 3rd year in this program. My kids enjoyed their coach and format of play. PGA Jr. made golf fun for them to learn along with swing instruction and rules of play. My oldest just aged out of the program but my youngest will have 2 years of eligible. We will definitely be back next year.
