I am very thankful for the time and effort that our coaches Nick and Jake put into our team. The PGA Jr league has taught our son the fundamentals of the game and great sportsmanship.

My son enjoyed playing 9 holes at home course as well as other clubs in our area.
It gives the kids an opportunity to play in a competitive environment with less pressure and allows them to have fun playing with their team. Golf is also so individual. PGA Jr League makes it a team sport which is different and fun aspect they usually don’t get.
Well run. App allows for easy and direct communication with coaches. Great experience for my 9 year old daughter. Only suggestion is that skill, not just age, should play a greater role in how the kids are divided up and tee off locations.
It was an overall great exposure to the game
It was a great way for a beginner to learn. I loved the scramble style of the competitions. It was a great first exposure to the sport for our son. The organizers at UCC went above and beyond.

The opportunity it offers to the kids to play consistently in a tournament program under the guidance of the coaches. It fosters dedication to the game, team partnership, learning, perseverance and development of the right attitude towards winning or losing. The coaches were very supportive and provided a lot of check ins with the kids. It's been a very good experience overall and I hope the program returns next year and beyond.
My son loved every minute of the season. His pro, Yuki, was awesome with the kids. What a great way for kids to learn to love the game of golf!

Our granddaughter had a wonderful experience in the PGA Jr. League! The coaching was great and all the kids had a great time. It was amazing to watch her skills improve. She is super excited to participate again next year!

While I realize that the PGA junior league runs in the spring summer and fall, it seems like the only competitive portion of it is all stars playing in the summer. In my opinion, team golf is really important for these kids to continue to develop, especially on high-level teams where they can learn from each other rather than always compete against each other. In addition our team scoring a97 in the first round in sectionals and did not advance with a one in doneapproach is pretty disheartening.
I would love to see it done more like travel baseball, where teams are established and play together competitively for an entire season or multiple tournaments that teams can travel to to earn points and then play in the national championship. Food for thought.
The coach, the organization, the access to other local courses, the app, the uniforms - everything.
Coach Ethan and his coaches do an incredible job of making everyone feel valued no matter what their experience level. They are positive, instructive and do a great job of communicating with parents and players alike. I have and will reccomend Blacklick PGA Jr. League to anyone has an interest in the game of golf.
