Wonderful way to help kids develop skills and sportsmanship! It was such a fun experience for our son. The program was run smoothly and I felt like we were always kept up to date with schedules and events.
What an amazing opportunity for my son! The coaches were incredible. Practices were well organized and players were split into groups so that all players were engaged. Coaches were encouraging and even gave prizes for good practices. The courses my son got to play were beautiful and my son would have never have had the opportunity to play on them had he not made the PGA Jr League. My son met so many incredible young men and women on his team as well.
We love our fearless leader, Yuki from Coldstream country club. He kept it fun but made sure they learned
I liked the scramble format that was still competitive but allowed for competition but not the pressure at a young age to play only your shot.
Instruction from the coach, practice sessions, ability to play new courses, 2 man scramble format
It’s just a great opportunity for young kids to play and learn golf. The coaches are nice and supportive
Good program for kids. Built in fun competition.
Our coach, Andrew Kitchen, has made the season full of fun, low stress and pressure, for both players and parents alike. It has been encouraging and lots of fun learning a lifelong skill.

There are so many positive experiences for my child and me in Jr League. Coach Highly is a great coach. He's patient with the kids, their golf game and game etiquette grew considerbly. We have been involved with Jr League for years and still enjoying it
When executed properly by the local club, the PGA Jr. League program is the perfect first-time competitive experience for all ages. As the child progresses in their skill, there are plenty of opportunities for competition and All-Star teams. Our program was not executed properly this season and was a major disappointment. This was mostly due to the Head Pro leaving in April and the young staff being in over their heads. When Ryne Kitchen, PGA ran it in previous years, it was phenomenal.
Coaches are very sweet and help kids grow on their golf and people skills!
great coaches and staff- Jaren does an excellent job!
Very fun for the kids. The scramble format takes some of the pressure off the players. I cannot say enough about Jim Rue, one of the coaches at Pipestone Golf Course. He is so very good with the kids. Always positive. After a kid shanked a drive, I heard Jim say "Wow you really got a piece of that. Let's see what we can do to straighten it out."
Great experience for kids learning to golf and start enjoying the game.
The best part of the program is watching the kids progress thru the years. All 5 of our local school’s varsity team is or was in the program.
We love the coaching and team building. Everyone is included no matter their skill. Working together is taught through the program.
Excellent coaching this year vs. previous years. Thanks Evan!!!
That it gives younger inexperienced players a chance to learn the game and be paired with kids slightly older than them to show them the ropes, and help determine if they will enjoy playing golf.
It's a great program! Well organized, the coaches know what they're doing and they teach techniques. It's not just aimlessly hitting balls. My son loved it too!
PGA Jr. League can be very casual and is inviting to beginner and recreational youth golfers. We are greatly lacking playing opportunities for casual youth golfers. The PGA (including with Jr. League past the local level), the USGA, U.S. Kids, Drive, Chip & Putt, etc., all focus on elite players. I feel you vastly undervalue how important it is to nurture the recreational golfer, including the youth recreational golfer.
Matt and the staff did a nice job with the kids at CCN this year.
The friendships that are made and instilling the love for the game.
Jaren was fantastic!
The coaching, the matches, they were great! My grandson had fun and learned a lot.
We really liked the structure of the program. We wish there were more spring and fall sessions locally.
Sean and Bob who ran the PGA Jr. League at the Hamilton Elks did a great job with the kids. From teaching to organizing everything, it was very enjoyable for my child. She will most definitely participate next year and we will build on this golfing experience for many years to come!
Allowing my kids to compete and learn a little about golf.

The match play each week was a great opportunity!
