Consumer Testimonials
Great to get the kids out and playing on a routine basis and having competition. Great to get some input from the professionals as well. Great experience.
Ability to mix kids and courses without too much pressure from scramble format. Appreciate clubs that let parents ride carts to watch.
Scramble format and 3 hole flights keep kids interested.
Golf can be such a solitary game, especially for young kids. PGA Jr League made golfing fun through the social and team aspect for my son!
League is great for the kids to learn about golf, and teamwork.
A great opportunity for young kids to experience/learn golf!
Great program.
Positive outlet for kids to get exposed to a lifelong sport!
There is both instruction and friendly competition.
Great for kids to bond and learn sportsmanship.
The opportunity for my sons to receive coaching and play golf in a competitive format.
The organization and the experience my son received.
Our club did a great job with it again. Unintimidating format, welcome to all skill levels, better kids helping newbies, really really great.
That it’s a team game. You learn from each other and build friendship to last.
My son had his first year with the Jr. PGA League. He loved the instruction, meeting new friends, playing at other golf courses, learning and having fun!! We are looking forward to next year.
He made the All Stars. He (11 years old) was so excited however, he was placed with three 13 year olds and it was a lot of pressure. He was placed with someone who barely played the season and my son had a ton of pressure on him. He was very overwhelmed and it sort of destroyed him. He’s never like that and we were very disappointed in how it was structured. His friend was placed with another club member so they already knew each other and did not play against anyone. We’re not sure how that “unstructured” way of placing kids is helping kids feel confident and have fun. It really was a bummer and not a great way to end the season. He’s moving on and still loves playing, but maybe it can be structured more fairly.
great experience and my son learned a lot!!
My son found the program very enjoyable, my only suggestion is to try and match group pairs a little bit competitive. My son was 8 playing against 12 year olds. 13 and under is a wide range.
Gives the children a way to play competitive golf, learn, and still have fun!!
Great year! Anthony and Lenny are fantastic with the kids !!
The team environment
It was a great experience for my daughter.
The children get instructions on a regular basis and then learn the game of golf as a team sport
This is my son's first time playing. He is having a ball playing and interacting with other kids while they play their round.
For my daughter the PGA Junior League was an amazing opportunity to meet new kids of all ages -- both girls and boys -- who share her passion for golf. She was able to work on her golf skills and learn golf etiquette at practice each week, while having unique opportunities to play different local courses (both public and private). She learned how to work as a team and hone skills such as sportsmanship, collaboration, strategy, decision making, assertiveness, and good sportsmanship. She was guided by great coaches who worked to grow her on and off the course! My daughter had a wonderful experience and can't wait to play again in the Fall.
I made a lot of friends, improved my game, decreased my nerves, and I enjoyed playing at different country clubs.
Great way to meet fellow local golfers! The kids enjoyed playing with kids at all levels.
Awesome experience and exposure
Easy going
I like the the players not only play golf but establish friendships across clubs

I like the format of the matches. It takes some of pressure off so the less experienced players don’t get discouraged when hitting a bad shot. Also the team concept helps both the experienced players to take more of a leadership role and the inexperienced players by being involved in the decision making.
