Consumer Testimonials
The community of people playing and the educational learnings about the game of golf.
I like that the kids learn so much and get to apply their skills in actual competition
The opportunity for my sons to develop their golf game in the Spring, Summer & Fall.
Pete KORBA is the best
It was a lot of fun and inclusive of all levels of play.
Structured instruction
Excellent program, great opportunities for playing and practice.
Highly recommend. I think that the championship at Penn state took longer than anyone wanted but generally the pace of play is great, the comradere is great and there is so much great learning. We saw huge improvement for our son. It's a sweet spot between kids who are competing solo in tournaments regularly and kids who are just starting out. Love it.
My child really enjoyed playing on the course and learning how to try to hit different shots. Also, she loved the team as aspect and making new friends. This is a very positive experience for youth, who are interested in the game of golf.
Low stress intro to competitive golf
New friends who share the same passion! The team spirit is helping a lot to ease the pressure on the course. My junior golfer plays much better when he walks with his peers, talking through the shots. We often see him carrying the team, which shows he can be a great player when he has someone to share the game with—rather than playing against others, as he does in tournaments.
John at Fieldstone made it fun and seamless.
Instructional and competitive
Well organized for younger kids who want to play golf. The low-pressure, team-based approach worked well for my son, and we look forward to continuing with the program next year.
My son loved participating in the PGA Junior league. Especially since he is not eligible to participate in Junior Golf at our club. We do wish the PGA season was longer. There were only 4 matches this season and one was a conflict.
Great program. Great instructors / coaches. Great format. Love the PGA Jr. League.
Everything. The courses played, Harry and Drew (St. Davids Golf Club) for coordinating and running it for the kids, and the competition. Great for kids to learning sportsmanship at such a young age.
Coach John is amazing with the kids, what a great introduction to golf!
Great experience for my 10 year old. Cant wait for next year
My son loved playing on team Concord! Can’t wait to keep up w his game and play again next season
Amazing experience for my son. He loved every second. His coach Garrett was amazing as well. Such a tremendous sport for youths as the other sports are not ran the same as they used to be. Thank you
We loved how well it was organized at Valleybrook! Coach Brad was very approachable and supportive of the kids.
We will definitely do the league again!
The individualized attention. Learning drills and skills that help them improve their game. The importance of practice
I like several things: 1) the best ball format works well. It not only takes the pressure off an individual golfer, it makes them think as a team; 2) I like mixing boys and girl teams together — to show different sides of the game. Boys tend to rely on long drives and power and girls are more strategic and finesse based. The fact they can score within 2-3 strokes of each other is a huge learning for both types of play.
I loved the once a week practice and the scrambles. The kids loved the competition!
Introducing kids to competition in a low pressure environment in the scramble format.
The uniforms were really nice for this year. Love that our club participated
I liked that it was a no pressure way of competing while learning the game of golf.
