I like several things: 1) the best ball format works well. It not only takes the pressure off an individual golfer, it makes them think as a team; 2) I like mixing boys and girl teams together — to show different sides of the game. Boys tend to rely on long drives and power and girls are more strategic and finesse based. The fact they can score within 2-3 strokes of each other is a huge learning for both types of play.
I loved the once a week practice and the scrambles. The kids loved the competition!

PGA Jr. League has been instrumental in our daughter’s growth as a person, not just golf. Fostering life skills, personal development, honesty, respect for others, sportsmanship just a few values she is learning from golf.

It was an overall great experience. It was not high pressured, and was about kids just having fun while playing golf. Our coaches were fantastic.

It is a very supportive environment with players and parents. We only wish there were more near our home and was offered in both spring and fall for more opportunities for the kids to play.
My son loved participating in the PGA Junior league. Especially since he is not eligible to participate in Junior Golf at our club. We do wish the PGA season was longer. There were only 4 matches this season and one was a conflict.
