Consumer Testimonials
My daughter joined a PGA Jr League over the summer and she really enjoyed the programming as well as the coaches. Getting to play on a real course was very helpful for her to understand the game and to stimulate her interest in the game.
The coaching was terrific. My daughter learned something new every time she played.
Watching the kids learn to play golf the right way, and compete but all had great sportsmanship.
Great experience for my son. Good balance of learning, competition, practice and fun.
Great practice and team feeling for an individual sport
My child learned a lot from his coaches and enjoyed playing at multiple courses with new players in his age range.
Fun and friendly way to learn to play golf.
Matt Finger, the assistant professional at DuPont Country Club who runs the Junior program, is an excellent teacher and communicator. He sets up a good, understandable program for the kids. Z
Great format. Fun way to introduce kids to golf. Team aspect
Opportunity to meet and learn from others
We had a great year. Only wish is that scheduling matches could be arranged further in advance. Thanks
The laid back competition. Teamwork
The structured, yet fun way golf is introduced to children.
The friends that my son made and being able to compete as a team!
Well coached. Great that my child played on a variety of courses. He learned a lot.
The combination of education and competition for young golfers.
Our amazing Coach Rob from Philadelphia Cricket Club is making this program so wonderful for our son. Also love the uniforms!
Love the competition for kids this age.
Enjoyed the competition and the ability to play other courses.
I think it is a great way to get the kids exposed to the game. The playoff structure was a tad frustrating as we advanced to the regionals as a local team who played through districts and won, and when we got to the regionals 1/2 the teams were local like us and the other 1/2 were all star teams that were put together with a 4 hour radius. The difference was immense and should be looked at. Either regulated it like baseball or consider two flights so its more balanced.
My 15 yr old daughter found other girls to play with. The 2 person scramble team format is a lot more fun and takes the pressure off each individual shot. I would recommend it to anyone with children that are on the fence of whether or not to play golf.
Great program! Keep it going!!
Steve Palazzolo was an excellent coach. The league was well organized and the team aspects and bit of competition really got my son to a new level of interest. We are doing it again in the fall.
Got my son very excited to get out on the golf course since a fun format
We had a great time this summer. It was the first real competitive golf for my son. The fun events and format was a great way to introduce him to playing against other kids. He had a great time and is now more interested in golf. I am hopeful to continue his new sparked interest and look forward to next summer’s events.
Best format to introduce players to the game.
The team environment
The leadership, new skills taught and fun that is encouraged in the program.
Our son got to play some beautiful courses in Delaware for an affordable price He would not have had the opportunity otherwise. He had so much fun meeting other players and improving his game. The shirts and hat provided by the PGA Jr. League were very special to him! He can't wait until next year!

The matches within the match. The 9-Holes at away clubs. Not letting parents coach! A lot of fun.
