The PGA Jr. League is an awesome experience! My son has been in the program for 3 years and loves the format and getting to meet and play with new friends. He loves golf and this program has made him a better player and has taught him how to play the game properly. He didn't want the season to ever end. So many things....coaching, team approach, competition but in fun way, teaching the basics, jerseys...so many things. Great program.
We thought it was very fair and very well run. The coach was knowledgeable, he was very kind and helpful and an all around great man. The kids on the team and on the competing teams displayed respect and sportsmanship at all matches. We are very happy with this program and would love to return.

Practice, practice, practice, PGA jr. League give you an invaluable opportunity to continue to grow playing golf.
The kids learned so much— sportsmanship, teamwork, and golf muscle memory.
The players make their own decisions about best ball and club selection. It teaches them to be responsible for their own round and the rules surrounding the game.
The coaching was great, I saw a huge improvement in my sons game.

Competition and learning
Match play scramble format lets the children play with less pressure. Than a tournament format. Practices are helpful too.

It is the best way to introduce juniors to competition in a low pressure format. It has been neat seeing the improve over the last three years!!!
