I loved the two person scramble format. Took a lot of pressure off the younger kids versus a traditional stroke play tournament. I liked the team aspect of league as well. Our team had 4-5 practices throughout the season, which I thought was great for player development.

It was an amazing experience for both my boys. They enjoyed meeting and playing against other children. It was great taking them to other golf clubs to experience those golf courses. The competition was good for both of my boys. Our team's coaches were incredible and taught them both a lot and helped them with their swings etc...
The format of play and the terrific coaches!
I like the format of the matches. It takes some of pressure off so the less experienced players don’t get discouraged when hitting a bad shot. Also the team concept helps both the experienced players to take more of a leadership role and the inexperienced players by being involved in the decision making.
Great to get the kids out and playing on a routine basis and having competition. Great to get some input from the professionals as well. Great experience.
Ability to mix kids and courses without too much pressure from scramble format. Appreciate clubs that let parents ride carts to watch.

Golf can be such a solitary game, especially for young kids. PGA Jr League made golfing fun through the social and team aspect for my son!
